I like to enjoy being in love, but damn it does bring redicule from others,

What is fashionable in Beijing right now? What items of clothing should I be sure to bring with me? I read that the Chinese are not too appreciative of outfits that are too revealing or show a lot of skin. Is this true?

My current style here in the United States is very Manhattan. I like wearing black and grey and I dress in a modern-classic way like I work in an art gallery.

If a muslim female can't wear capris to go play tennis, and has to wear a hijab or burka as Abdul suggests, it'd be a wonder that any muslim women got any physical exercise in their lives. Some may respond that they can do this in the privacy of their own home. But that just doesn't cut it. Part of modern living/society is being engaged with your fellow humans. What's the point of doing anything if it's going to be constrained to one's private domain?

Ok, she just left me without telling me a reason, shes in another town. I call her, but she just wont pick up. I told my friend on myspace to add her, and she accepted his request. He told her if she would like to be my friend, she replied, "Yeah, no big deal, I know hes a good person, besides I already added him, say hello to him, bye."

I checked and it was a lie. I added her two days after and she accepted the request. I waited one week and sent her an email saying "Hello. The Start of another week, hows everyone doing? Take Care."

She replied back just now but Im going to connect later on. Anyways, the question is this, if she replied back to answer, she would like my friendship? Thats all I want, and I know that some exes dont even want to know what happens in the life of the other.

So do you think she might want my friendship?

I have not spoken with my grandmother all summer. My mother passed away a few years ago, and since then she has been overly critical of our family, and was coming over uninvited every single day, which was annoying but livable. At the start of the summer however, she got ten times worse, and after one to many rude and mean comments I quit speaking to her.Now however I feel that I should attempt to contact her or make things right in some way before I leave for school, because even though she was the one in the wrong she is stubborn and would never reach out to make things right. How should I go about this? Or should I even bother?

I understand the basics...but I just started a new job where a 401K plan will be available to me within a year and I've never had one, so I really don't know what to do with it. My company is matching (half) of whatever I put in there at the end of the year...

Also I was thinking if they did it periodically throughout the year it would benefit me more than at the end of the year...is that true?

Here in Australia, there are christian programs that buy half hour slots early in the morning to push their evangelical message threatening fire & brimstone to those who don't live exactly as they dictate.

Many christians declare that we should let them believe what they want as it dosn't affect us.

But how they feel if everywhere they turned, someone were pushing atheism on them and tearing down their faith?

How would they like it if they turned on the television every morning to see someone pushing them to accept their is no God and their beliefs are as shallow as a wading pool?

Ok I'm a bit confused if I should wear white for my wedding.

This will be my first marriage, however, I did have a previous 10 year relationship with another man. That relationship fell apart and I finally found the man of my dreams.
Now, my parents know I am not a virgin and are questioning if its right for me to wear white for my wedding and a half-vail. They think I should wear an off white or even beige color due to the previous relationship and the amount of time I was in it as it could technically be seen as a common law marriage.

His parents are catholic and know nothing of my previous relationship where I lived with a guy for 10 years. (My fiance does know about my past relationship.) His parents know that this is my first marriage and I know they are looking forward to seeing him marry a bride in white as he is their only child and this will be his only wedding.

I personally want to wear white but I'm not sure if its appropriate.

So I have been running on and off for the last few months, but during the last few weeks have been very motivated. i have now been running 3 to 4 times a week, about 1.5- 2.5 miles each run. i am trying to get in better shape, so.....what should i be eating? i dont want to cancel out the good of running by eating the wrong foods...any ideas?

I am 47 years old and have been seeing the same dentist for the past 25 years. I have never missed any of my 6 months recalls. Now his "new" hygienist told me I have several 8 mm pockets around my teeth. I was referred to a periodontist. I need bone grafting. This dentist never did full mouth probing or a full mouth series of x-rays. This periodontal surgery will cost me thousands of dollars and there is no guarentee that i still won't loose these teeth. How could my gums have gone this bad in 6 months? I believe he failed to diagnose. Do I have a legal case? help...anyone!!
