They think Atheist dominate all television all other times of the day. Fortunately for them, the TV companies sell them time in the mornings when no one nomally watches TV, so everyone except insomniacs can feel good about themselves.

I believe you need to catch up with time. Yes, there are Christian programs on television. But there are plenty of television shows and movies that make a mockery of the Christian faith. There are also shows and movies promoting other religions and no religions, and atheism. Christianity is not about making threats. A christian's sole purpose in this world is to witness to others and share the plan of salvation. However, it is up to the individual to determine whether they want to become saved. If they have been introduced to the Word of God and they do not accept then they will be casted into the firey pit called Hell. Hell is a lake of fire that will never be put out, a place where worms will crawl on you, screams, and darkness, and a feeling of falling and never reaching bottom. Hell is so real and it's sad that so little people believe it exists.

You post alot of questions wondering how christians would feel about things. If you want to dominate early morning television, do it. If you want to put up a bill board, do it. It wouldn't bother me because even though I don't agree with WHAT you believe, I believe in your right to believe it. I totally agree with the God-given right to choose. You can believe whatever you want to believe. Personally, I deal with ALOT of other faiths being in a campus town. Not all of them are friendly and 90% of the time, they are like rabid dogs the minute they find out there's a christian in the room.
I would ask if you believe the golden rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated?
The real question here is, do YOU believe everyone has a right to believe the way they want to? It doesn't sound like it, being as you spend so much time upset at christians. You get upset for something christians do, but would support those of your religions doing the same thing. A bit hypocritical, don't you think? Just something to think about.

If I were an atheist I would probably be mad too. You do not have to live up to anyone standards. True Christianity is living up to the standards of God. That is just to love God with your whole heart and love your neighbor. I don't think it is right to tear down a person. To have different beliefs is okay, and to have your own opinion. We can be different and still get along can't we. We can respect where a person is in life, whether they agree with us or not. Since you do not like Christian programming, hopefully there are other channels to watch.

While the atheist's have not won the tube, as of yet, they have certainly won the Internet experience. The same with life in general. I know many more who don't believe than those who do. And of those who do ... I wonder what they honestly believe.
It seems that there are a great many more non-believers than Christians.
None-the-less, Our Christian God has charged us to spread the word. Wouldn't any good God ask the same of His/Her followers? Me thinks so!
So, IMHO, I face non-believers on a daily basis. Not on the tube but in real life!
Sure, it would bother me to see a show that preaches 'non-belief'. But then I would likely change the channel (which I often do with Christian preaching shows). Too often, they are out for $$$ and do not support what I believe to be true.
You are welcome to believe as you will but I request that you keep an open mind to the truth. You decide! I, nor none of my kind, will force you to believe as I (we) do. We (I) only seek to guide you toward the truth. In the end, the choice is always yours!

Hmm, I face that kind of thing every day here in the US.
Honestly, I think that if a person is a Christian, they wouldn't be too upset or surprised over it.. After all, if they read their Bible it's right there in front of them in black & white:
"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." ~Jesus (John 15:18)
Usually those preachers you see on TV preaching "fire and brimstone"...are only talking to other Christians, or anyone who already feels a conviction to get right with God. If you don't fall into either of those categories, why let it bother you? Just a thought. ;)
Take care.

I think Christians are reaching out in love to keep their fellow men from perishing because they didn't share their knowledge of God with them. It is your choice to watch the shows or turn them off. Maybe you should listen for a little while with an open mind. If atheists bought programming time and spread their philosophy--which their are some that do, it would be my personal decision whether to watch them or turn channels. Don't be so hard on Christians.

Do you guys have the one with the hideous old squat woman who wears the gigantic blond wigs and Ursula the Sea-Witch makeup and screams at you about how she needs to help the starving kids, so send a "gift"? I don't mean Sally Struthers - this one's an actual full-blown televangelist. Sometimes I watch a few minutes of that out of sheer morbid fascination, the way you slow down to look at a car wreck. Any more than that though and I'd probably, you know, convert - she is SO damn convincing.

First, to have a "faith" you have to "believe" in something or someone. If a person is an athiest, that negates that argument all together.
As for the early morning time slots, hey money talks. If you don't like it, go buy some of the time slots.
Finally, if you choose to NOT believe there is a God or in his Holy Word (Bible) then basically all your argument amounts to is whining. Last time I checked, athiest were enjoying the freedoms of this country just like everyonr else.
They need to just get over it.
