Romantic love is. Universal, infinite, perfect love is not any kind of idea. The word love is used to express this existence, as it is neither a feeling or an appropriate word the meaning gets lost in translation. But, it is the closest word we have for universal love.

Love is a feeling that comes and goes like any other feeling. Any expectation beyond this is setting yourself up for a life of misery. Wanting to be loved is even worse.
