Under the circumstances, you are probably eligible for grants. This doesn't really mean that college will be free; most people have a combination of things like grants, loans, work-study and the like, but the grants take care of the part that would make it impossible to go, and the loans won't be larger than those of other college graduates.

Yes there is a good chance you will need to check with the state and federal agencies that do that however. I mean you will work for it just by having to fill out a crap load of forms. The best place to go would be to the financial aid office of the school you want to attend. Your high school guidance councilor should be able to help you with where exactly to go and who to get in contact with. Note I said should, but some couldn't even find a char to set their @ss in. If they can't contact your states dept. of education, they can help you. Just remember there is a lot of red tape and paperwork that has to be done with anything like this, that's just the way it is. Good luck!

perhaps, but always look into possibly getting grants or other scholarships from private institutions.
getting a highly reduced tution is something of a rarity since you are the main source of income for the school.

although they may give you some aid, unless you are a spectacular student, dont expect much if any scholarships from the school.

There is a possibility, but there is also the possibility that you will have loans, like everyone else.

Also, don't go to the military, they lie to you about how much they really help and will most likely send you off to war.
