What exactly is a paradox in simple words?

I know that my chest is too big to be able to comfortably be able to ride a roller coaster and it's holding me back. I had an idea to bind my chest, but I need to know if that would even help and how would I do it if it did?

The equation is (log base 10 3)/10 = [log base 10 (1+r)]

I've tried to use the distributive property but that DEFINITELY won't work because then log 1 + log r = log r, which is not log (1+r). So, can you use antilogs (anything with log) to solve and show your steps?

So tonight at my local oil change place they started my 2001 Sonoma before they filled the oil back up. It was probably on for around 10 seconds at most. I drove it for a while and checked the oil after. Oil is clear, there's no burning smell, no noticible change in acceleration or RPMs.

They were good about it, signed the invoice stating that they did this etc. but I assume that really would only have helped me had the engine died down the block. Does anyone know if I should be genuinely concerned in this case, given that it was only on briefly, and that it wouldn't have been completely dry?

I would like to take some money out of my Roth IRA and invest it in currency exchange.

From what I know, I need to move it to a Self Directed IRA provider and with that account fund the currency exchange account.

Is this correct? Is there another way of doing this? Another method I came across is to form an LLC, which you start with your Self Directed IRA, then trade currency with that LLC.

So this guy- we used to like each other, and when he was walking with his gf, he pretended like he didn't even see me. HE commented ME today on myspace, "Hey whats up LL, what are you doing?" And I just replied "I'm just sitting here bored... you?" and AFTER he didn't respond, and I know he saw it cus he was talking to other people.

Now he thinks that it's ok that he ignored me (yesterday when I was passing him in the hallway) I know I shouldn't have commented back, but what should I do now... besides just telling him?
