On my maternal Grandmothers side our ancestors lived in Alnwick Castle. In 1096 Yves de Vescy was a baron there and that is our ancestor. This castle is used for the school in the Harry Potter movie and in scenes of Elizabeth 1 The Virgin Queen, a movie I love, and other movies also. I hope some day to be able to visit this place for it has a beautiful garden to see along with the castle itself.

Erm... my great great great great (give or take a great or two) grandfather was Giovanni Batista Moroni (a historic painter). Oh and my grandfather is from the small town where Christopher Columbus is from. Other than that, nothing interesting.
