Depends on the hole in the ship. It took the Titanic less than 2 hours and the Lusitania less than a half an hour. It took the HMS Hood (WWII) less than 10 minutes.

The ocean isn't a pool and there is a varied terrain under the weight of all that water. Weight, bouyancy....too much math.
