I live in a big apartment complex. A while ago, I had a leak from the ceiling directly above the toilet seat. I called the landlord 10times within the past six months and maintenance did not fix the problem. The person at the leasing office said you do not have an emergency. Finally, I went to the housing authorities and she said "The landlord has no right not to respond to a leak in an acceptable time frame." She called up the landlord and maintenance was fixed the leak on the sameday. I have another leak from the ceiling in my apartment. I sent a notorized letter to the leasing office and they have not responded within an acceptable time frame. Perhaps they do not consider a leak an emergency? Regardless, I pay $650/month for rent and they should immediately respond. If my Dad has a leak in his apartment, maintenance will be in there the sameday he complains about the problem. My Dad spends $2500/month for rent.

My parents are getting Married
after being divorced for over 20 years...and niether one of them getting married in-between
they have decided to re-marry..my brothers were raised by both of them, they have lived next door to eachother for our entire childhoods.
We have never witnessed any fights, arguements, or even cross words between them, they act and live as best friends, always supporting us and eachother
My brothers and myself are freaking out..what if this idea or marriage distroys their relationship?
are they being realistic?

I have some plants out in a garden and need to water them often, when is the best time to water them? I have heard that you shouldn't do it on hot sunny days and you're only supposed to do it in the morning or in the afternoon when the sun is not out. Is that true or can I water them any time during the day?
My lawn is really dry too and is starting to turn yellow, are there any tips on how to water it or what kind of sprinkler to buy?

I am in a program that requires me to work as a teacher for 2 years (within a window of 3 years) in order to get my certification. I live in a VERY competitive area where it is incredibly difficult to get your foot in the door at most of the big districts. I had a one year contract last year and so I am needed to do year #2 of teaching in order to get certified. There are several jobs available to me several hours from my husband & house...and we're having a difficult time deciding what we should do. We see pro's and con's to both sides (me moving temporarilty for 9 months to get certified vs. me staying and not having a job and HOPING that I get one next year or I don't get certified and will have wasted my experience & money in regards to the program) and I figure maybe I can get some feedback on here. Would you or wouldn't you move and why? (We've only been married a little over a year and we have house, car and loan payments so living on one salary isn't possible currently)

What percent of the military would fight with the American citizens against the government, if we got into another Civil War?
I think it would be about 90%. I think our soldiers know that Congress (democratically controlled) aren't listening to Americans at home, or to them. This questions relates to all issues, especially illegal alien trespassing, the war, and anything else you can think of, where Congress is doing what they want, rather than what we citizens want.
Remember that Congress is still continuing to try and pass an amnesty bill for illegal aliens (mostly Mexican) to enter our country, against 98% of Americans, Liberal, and Conservatives, who want illegals gone. What do you think? I would especially like to hear from the military, and their families. Thanks.

About a month ago, I made my two boys, 10 & 9, aware of high fructose corn syrup. (My youngest especially gets very hyper whenever he ingests HFCS). Whenever we buy something in the store, we look at the label to see if it contains HFCS. We are constantly amazed at the items this bad fructose is in. Yesterday, I wanted to buy some Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns, looked at the label, and yes, it was the 2nd ingredient listed! This stuff is so bad for you. Please, also take the time to learn about this horrible additive.

I'm back in the market for a job after owning my own lawn service- which I can no longer do ( hard physical labor ). I have not worked for anyone else, or applied for a job, in 22 years. It seems to me that the "BBT" is quite accepted by physicists as the origin of the universe. It seems to me that the scale of such an event has made scientists assume that the entire Universe began from that. Which is easy, considering we are talking about an infinite field of existence with countless galaxy clusters that are known to collide, each cluster containing hundreds of galaxies, that in turn, contain Billions of stars... That scale combined with the effect of super black holes who's mass is beyond imagination.. It just seems to me that we, as humans, try to understand things in a finite way- big and small, begining and end, etc. But we live in an infinite universe where such classifications completely lose meaning. Regardless of galaxy expansion or contraction, for as far as we can detect, doesn't it seem more likely to some scientists that an infinite universe never had a beginning?
