Sometimes its a cop out... but sometimes they are right. You may possibly BE killing something actually, by smothering a situation to death... Overly emotional is not sexy... but assertive is good - as long as it doesnt brink borderline crazy persistance.

More times than not, you are correct. It is a cop out. That said, sometimes a woman (or man) IS, indeed, being unreasonable and emotionally unstable. So it is wise to step back and self-evaluate when someone says that. It could be true, to some extent. But, of course, that doesn't mean it IS true. Guys (and girls, for that matter) will say just about anything to deflect blame from themselves.
