I have tried everything from cold turkey to medications and I cannot seem to drive the nicotine monster away!

My life is very stressful right now with a very ill husband. I cannot be a good caregiver if I don't take care of myself. There are so many patients dying of lung cancer and I watch as they sit outside the hospital in their wheelchairs having a smoke. I could cry for them because I know how strong the addiction really is.

I don't want to end up that way.

Are any of my other Muslim brethren reminded of this verse by these pictures? They are real, live occurrences, some in newspaper articles, and the tree and rock are facing Mecca. What do you think of this?

A blonde heard that milk baths would make her beautiful. She left a note for her milkman to leave 25 gallons of milk.
When the milkman read the note, he felt there must be a mistake. He thought she probably meant 2.5 gallons. So he knocked on the door to clarify the point.
The blonde came to the door and the milkman sai, "I found your note asking me to leave 25 gallons of milk. Did you mean 2.5 gallons?"

My friend has had them in her fridge for about a month & a half, & they stil;l look good.

She also has broccoli that's been there for the same amount of time, but it's turning yellow.

it's happened before..about a year ago, but i had a long talk with my dad and somehow they worked it out. they had another one again, and my dad claims that the house belongs to him (because my mom owns houses in another country) and idk he said don't come back to the house, but when she didn't, he came to get her. i mean, they have had big fights quite a lot, but this is the worst one yet. i feel soo bad. suicidal even. i just don't know what to do..please help. i can't deal with a divorce.

It's really weird and it just started recently (as in last few months). I am on other meds but have asked a pharmacist who says there is no adverse reaction and that everything mixes fine. I throw up almost everytime and I am looking for what the science of it might be, so please no "I don't know, just quit taking them" - not to sound snippy. :) Thanks!

Okay; my mom has this psycho dog(an evil black toy poodle)- It hates everything and everybody except for my mother. Ever since she got the dog it has barked growled and snarled at me. When it barks at me she blames me for upsetting it and I get yelled and screamed at literally she has told me to shut up at the top or her lungs. She says I intimidate it, but I honestly don't- all I do is walk past it and it gets scared and barks at me. I am on vacation and I told her that her dog was stupid and now she is upset and bought herself AND her dog a ticket back to home; we haven't even been on vacation for more than a day!!! Also it seems that she has lost all her love, respect and compassion for me over her dog. I don't know what to do...

i would like to spend at least 3 or 4 days a week with someone i'm in a relationship with, but my boyfriend can easily go 5 or 6 days without spending time together. he doesn't seem to understand how important it is to spend quality time together - especially this early on in a relationship. when we do get together, i feel like his knack for romantic, fun ideas has gone downhill.

also, he makes certain comments and fails to make others when i believe he should know better. it got to an embarrassing point recently when we went to a wedding together - he hadn't complimented me on my appearance (i'm extremely confident, and know i'm attractive) at all that day, and it only got worse when a guy i had dated my final semester in college came up and told me i looked absolutely stunning. matters only get more annoying when he mentions a new female co-worker that has all the male employees drooling over her "good looks". i'm not jealous - but seriously? thoughts on how i should deal?

I am a single mom with a seven year old daughter. Up until 6 months ago we lived with my parents and siblings, we also shared a room. Six months ago we moved out with my long term boyfriend. Her father is rarely in the picture and she prefers not to see him. My daughter is a wonderful,shy,smart girl. Her one fault is bedtime. She usually goes to bed alright, but I can't get her to stay asleep through the night. She wakes up crying and scared. She wants me with her. She spends alot of weekends at my parents house. She loves it there, and I think its mostly because my mom sleeps with her when she is there. My question is...do i go in and sleep with her when she cries to comfort her? Or do I let her cry and tell her she needs to sleep alone. There has already been so many changes for her recently, I have a hard time doing that. Please lend me your advice. Thanks.

I have experience in illustration, film, animation and sculpting (polymer clay). After getting my qualification to teach at TAFE or any other registered training organisation, I'm still finding it difficult to find an opening to teach a visual arts course (with a focus on illustration and sculpture).

For the time being, there is a lack of interest in attending such a course. My question; do you believe that selling the course in DVD format would be more popular, meaning that people could 'attend' the course in their own time, without the obligation of turning up at a set venue? With my experience in film, the DVDs would be informative and of good quality.

If you do believe that would be more popular, what would be a good way to sell these DVDs? Would you prefer to pick them up at an art & craft store, buy through Ebay, or buy through my personal website?

Went to a baskeball 1st date with this girl from match.com last Friday. Hugged twice, fun date, laid back, etc. Texted her 2 hrs afterwards with, "hey you made that game fun, we should meet up again sometime." I should've ASKED when/if you wanted to meet up again huh? Anyway, she never replied the text, but last night sent me an email on match.com, saying.....
