wheres wasco state prison?

my uncle has been there for a while and we got permission to go visit him, i was wondering where it is. i live in cali n i knw its in cali. i live in l.a. so how long would it take to get to the prison in car? whats its like? any good places to see while were there?

It's in Wasco, CA. According to Yahoo driving directions, it's 141.4 miles from L.A. and should take you 2 hours, 8 minutes to get there (probably not accounting for the traffic to get out of L.A.). Sorry, don't know about the sights en route.
