My friend has had them in her fridge for about a month & a half, & they stil;l look good.

She also has broccoli that's been there for the same amount of time, but it's turning yellow.

Should we throw them away?

Toss the broccoli. Yellowing means it's old. I'm surprised it's not stinking up the fridge. The carrots might still be good as long as they are not rubbery, but I'd toss 'em anyway as they are not that expensive. Better yet, put them out in the back yard for the critters!

Your carrots will be OK as long as they look orange and are still crisp. Even if they lose their crispiness, they are still good cooked.

I don't think the broccoli would hurt you at all but I really wouldn't waste my time with it if it is turning yellow.

the carrots are fine. definitley toss the brocccoli....
