(and goes for McGwire too for any people that want to cry racist). How long should people let them go before totally erasing any of their records and banning them completely from the game?

Look, we all " know " that Bonds has done steroids. But from any type of legal standpoint, no one has actually proven that he has. In the law's eye's it's just a bunch of " he said, she said". You're innocent until proven guilty in this country.........whether everyone believes you're guilty, or not.

You'd have a legitimate question if thats the way that baseball worked, but it doesnt.
No stat will ever be erased from baseball history no matter what.
Sure, you can keep them out of the Hall based on popular opinion, but you can never erase the stats.
The day after Barry breaks the record, he could come out and say that he's half robot, and those stats will stay the same.

There would be no asterisks, no erasing of Barry's records or banning him from baseball. Even though there is evidence of drug use by Barry, he used them legally, just like Mark used Andro. Andro, HGH and Steroids were not on an illegal or banned substance list for MLB, so they were used in a legal manner.

Both should not be crucified or villified by the media and public. If they did it legally, why are they being bashed?

the rule in the book about using corked bats is in place because babe ruth was caught more than once using a corked bat (like he needed one being that he played on a field with a right field wall of 290 and a left field wall of 289-softball fields are bigger)

matter of factly even after bein caught and the rule put in place he STILL was busted a few more times using a corked bat..which makes sense when you see his swing...no one with a swing like that could ever hit 700 bombs with out some kind of help

It should be done immediately. The single-season HR record should revert to 61.

its a matter of money, no one wants to go to a game and not see a homerun. i bet if u look at the attendance stats they show a major difference. so as long as people keep going to the games and buying merchandise they r going to keep turning their heads.
