Like I said, I can't take it anymore without saying this:

Has anyone else but me noticed how many idiots are on this site that DON'T want to help people out? It amazes me how mean some people are... Am I the only one here who thinks these people are idiots???? Imagine... someone comes here asking for help and some jerks just feel the urge to stomp on them thru this site... I just can't seem to wrap my mind around it... I guess that that is the only way they can feel BIG... by making others feel small.

So this is for those of you who get idiots like that that answer your questions: Ignore them and rate their answers bad.

And for those of you idiots that do this: Get a life!

I have a malfunctioned hard drive that will not allow Windows to boot. My question is this-since i cannot boot Windows from the hard drive, would it be possible to install this hard drive in a functioning computer and retrieve essential files on the malfunctioning drive? I need to rescue priceless family photos, among other things. If this is possible, will i need to connect anything other than the one ribbon from the hard drive to the motherboard? (leave the rainbow colored wires alone?) When I try to boot up now, even in safe mode, I receive an error message saying that one of the files being booted, maybe the sixth or seventh, is missing or corrupt. It tells me to try restore from the recovery disk, which I have tried, but when prompted for a command, i am not sure which one to go with (have tried bootcfg, fixmbr, among others) Please, any advice would be greatly, dearly appreciated. I cannot let over 10 gigs of family photos compiled for over more than 10 years disappear. Thanks.

Well, I just bought an LG white chocolate by verizon today ( http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=2646 ) with a family plan, my mom got a dark chocolate.
Well anyways, a few of my friends have them, and they all really like them. But I'd just like a few more opinions and any tips with them or anything... whether you have one, want one, or have just heard about them... that would be great :]] thank you

I drive a 1997 Toyota Rav 4. It's a 4 cylinder car so you'd think that the gas mileage would be good, but it isn't. I fill up gas almost everyday and it runs out so quick. it's ridiculous. I don't know if I have a leak in my tank or what... Does anyone have any ideas?

Genesis 1:25-27
(Humans were created after the other animals.)

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image.... So God created man in his own image.

(Humans were created before the other animals.)

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

I'm just curious...I've heard and experienced that men don't like to talk about their feelings much and they seem to get irritated with women talking about theirs. Why is that? Do you men have any tips for us women on how we can talk to you when we need to? It's hard for a woman to be "shut down" when she's trying to explain something that is hurting her...so we need you to listen. But, I also understand that men can't handle all that (don't know why) - so I want to be more sensative to my man but I also have some needs myself (mostly to express myself). I'm learning to do some of it with my lady friends - but sometimes I want HIM in particular to listen. He does. He's sweet about it. But, I can tell it's hard for him. Help! Tips? Advice? (Please be nice, no need to bash me or call me names...I'm seeking CONSTRUCTIVE criticism or advice). THANKS! :)

Police roadblocks to remove unlicensed drivers challenged From wire service reports

A controversial police technique to remove unlicensed drivers from the roads is being challenged on civil rights grounds, and another federal court decision is expected soon, it was reported today.

Police across California are using temporary roadblocks to find unlicensed drivers, and impound their cars. But Latino rights groups say that practice is discriminatory and aimed at undocumented workers, who are unable to pay for their cars' steep impound fees.

Los Angeles and Orange counties have joined several other agencies in supporting a state law that requires cars driven by unlicensed or uninsured motorists to be impounded on the spot, and towed to a storage yard.

Three civil rights law firms have sued several agencies, including the City of Los Angeles, for impounding cars owned by illegal aliens, who are barred by state law from getting drivers licenses. The suit claims that Latinos are being singled out in an unconstitutional, sweeping move that violates constitutional protections against unreasonable police conduct against all persons, not just U.S. citizens.

``We've heard a lot of complaints from the Latino community,'' said Bill Flores, a San Diego County Latino organizer, in an interview with the Oceanside North County Times. He noted that the impound fees of $1,500 must be added to towing and administrative fees that can go above another $400.

The groups argue that the cars should be parked safely and the motorists cited, so the cases can be heard in court. Some licensed drivers have lost their cars when they could not find their insurance documents at the roadblocks, or if they lent the car to an unlicensed driver, and could not afford to get them out of impound.

But the government attorneys argue that state law is aimed at protecting the public by removing the cars driven by unlicensed, uninsured drivers from the streets immediately. http://www.dailybreeze.com/news/articles/8659077.html
Driving is a privilege, NOT a civil right. If the idiots had such an arguement, all drunk drivers would be released tomorrow.
Guess they Better ban the DUI checkpoints too.
Of course, these laws ONLY apply to law abiding citizens. They don’t apply to anyone else. This may sound twisted, but sadly it seems to be true. Increasingly, there seem to be different sets of laws for different groups.
