I think those who hold the belief in the "Inerrancy and Infallibility of the Bible" doctrine have the difficult task to try and do apologetic gymnastics to try to make things harmonize.

Maybe it wasn't meant to be in 100% harmony. Maybe you just have two christians with different points of view eh?

James liked works and Paul liked faith. It's not like there never were any conflicting view points.

Heck, Jesus and his crew had conflicting view points from time to time. Paul even criticized Peter at one point.

So is far fetched to believe that maybe the writers of the new testament simply had a different point of view?

Is it necessary that they have to agree with each other? Aren't we able to gain wisdom from different points of view?

Today i went out to get my mail, and i live in an apartment complex. And i had a letter from the sheriff's department stating that there was a self offender living in complex. This man was convicted of RAPE!!I feel unsafe in this place, and if my boyfriend is away i shouldn't have to worry about my safety. My question is..does the apartment complex have to move this man in, and do i have a right to get out of my lease for feeling unsafe??Would i have a valid argument??

Recent talks have suggested to win this war on Terror we need to dishearten these militant islamics. It has been suggested to do high altitude bombings over Al-quida positons. Unfortunatly they hide behind civilians which would mean civilians will be killed. But this would keep in place the troops we have thier already without sending in anymore. It would also send a message to Al-Quida.
During WWII, one night of bombing over Hamburg (for instance) resulted in over 3,000 civilian deaths but it sped up the defeat of nazi held Germany. In times of war civilians do get killed, thats a plain fact. What our your views on this proposed plan?

I do not want to hear the Liberal point of view (we know your answer)

First of all I'm a guy but the funny thing is I don't know how to act like a guy... at least not that much. I've been observing people to see what they do so that maybe I can follow their footsteps and act like them. Ofcourse that didin't work out too well. I observe them, in fact I even took some notes but it didn't do any good. That's why I need some tips on what should I do and/or say in order for me to be more masculine? What should I avoid saying and/or doing? Thanks

We've all seen the lines of people waiting for days to be the first to purchase Harry Potter and the rest of the items mentioned .
Why would anyone 'feel' they 'need' them so badly on day-one ?
What's wrong with getting them tomorrow or next week or whenever ?
Personally I think it's GREED and SELFISHNESS . We're all guilty in one way or another . Many will devote all those hours for a game or a book , or even spend 3 hours watching a football game , yet are too 'busy' or 'inconvienenced' to go to church for ONE hour !!
This troubles me about our American society and I'm just wondering how many people see this as clearly as they probably should ?
I'll consider all respectful answers .
Thank you .

What are they hiding? These are Americans who need our protection.

Excerpted from:
Sunday, July 22, 2007
Mark Steyn: Look who's holding hostages again

How do you feel about the American hostages in Iran?

No, not the guys back in the Seventies, the ones being held right now.

What? You haven't heard about them?

Odd that, isn't it? But they're there. For example, for two months now, Haleh Esfandiari has been detained in Evin prison in Tehran. Unfortunately, the mullahs say it's an obvious cover for a Bush spy.

Among the other Zionist-neocon agents currently held in Iranian jails are an American journalist, an American sociologist for a George Soros-funded leftie group, and an American peace activist from Irvine, Ali Shakeri, whose capture became known shortly after the United States and Iran held their first direct talks since the original hostage crisis.

Last week, the Iranians paraded their U.S. hostages all over TV as they confessed to engaging in espionage. . . Steyn
