I'm a guy and am going to a wedding in a few weeks...
for the time being I am staying in Amesbury, MA. I used to go to this place in Portland, OR that was kind-of hipstery but it was $20 bucks and they did a good job. I can only find supercuts or $40 salons around here. Willing to go to Portsmouth, NH or Boston. Thanks

Victor's Avenue Barber Shop on Mass Ave by the Lexington Arlington line charges $14. He has been cutting hair for about 40 years so he has the technique.

I think PERFECT CUT on Hancock Street, Quincy, MA is the cheapest place to have your hair cut for $10.00 plus tip

Hong Kong Salon on Cambridge, Brighton, MA is about $15 plus tip

Thuy Salon on Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA is $14.00 plus tip

Tien Barber on Adams Street, Dorchester, MA is about $12.00 plus tip.

I have been to the above barber shops and I am very please with their services.

I wish you the best at the wedding party.

My experience tells me that you get what you pay for. A good haircut will cost you. Barber/Hairdressing school will do it for a fraction of the cost and most time it is OK, sometimes they miss.

You can say to yourself, it's only hair, it will grow back and still have some money left
