I have a few problems with my work at the moment. I work in a corporate office in the city centre and have worked here for the past 6 months. I am not really clicking with anyone in my department (immediate crew of 7) but also find it hard to initiate conversations with other staff around the building. (260 staff) I work with one lady who talks harshly about people to me but then I get fearful she is doing the same about me. I've approached her about this and she has just palmed off my queries and left it at that. I also feel she talks to the boss about things she might over hear I'm doing in my personal life or when I talk on my mobile because he knows things I don't tell him. I'm wondering if there's any websites or books on office politics because I really like my job but I'm pretty naive when it comes to all this manipulation and backstabbing. I'm 24 years old and am just getting my career started so I refuse to leave this company. It's my dream job that I've fought hard for.....

I have been married a little over 2 yrs. My husband has a drinking problem, and sometimes a a weekend with drinking and cocaine. He only does the cocaine when he is with the wrong people, in the north. We have 2 children and one on the way, he did stop drinking for about 21/2 months. But started drinking a drink a day. Now he is on a family visit out of state and he sounds like he is on a drinking binge and I could tell that at least once he was doing cocaine when he called. He has also called me names and has done damage to my dashboard in my car when he was drunk and upset. He has never laid a hand on me, though sometimes his words hurt just as bad. But when he is not drinking he is a really wonderful guy with the best heart.

A farmer and his wife were lying in bed one evening; she was knitting and he was reading the latest issue of Animal Husbandry. He looked up from the page and said to her, "Did you know that humans are the only species in which the female achieves org*sm?"

She looked at him wistfully smiled, and rplied, "Oh yeah? Prove it."

He frowned for a moment, then said, "Okay." He got up and walked out, leaving his wife with a confused look on her face.

About a half hour later, he returned all tired and sweaty and proclaimed, "Well I'm sure the cow and sheep didn't but the way that pig is always squealing, how can I tell?"

ok many meateaters claim vegans and vegetarians are malnourish and sick from lack of vitaminans-LIE!
vegans and vegetarians live longer than many meat eaters and are quite healthy

I don't hate anybody because life is too short to hate and hate is a powerful word. i mean i dislike people that are mean to me personally but i don't dislike someone for the point of disliking them. i love everyone even the people i dislike because God saids to love people.

Why were Jews the ones used as the scapegoat in the Holocaust?

Jewish people aren't known to be a drain on the economy [this is a prejudiced argument justifying the mistreatment of black people in the US and south asian people in the UK] many of them are professors, doctors, scientists; and they haven't be known to engage in terrorism here.

Physically they look more like white people [skin colour is a horrible reason to discriminate against people] but I'm saying I don't see what discriminatory grounds are used to justify anti-Semitism.

We have a "new thinking" now that those outside the Church can be saved like those who reject Christ as the Messiah and those who have left the Church and made up their own beliefs concerning salvation, many of them calling themselves Catholics.

I noticed today that I have these tiny white spots all over my aquarium, but its not outside because the water is moving them. They seem like they're "attached" to the walls of my aquarium. I have 2 dwarf gouarmis, 2 neon tetras, and 3 cory cats. Its not a cloud in my aquarium, they're just tiny white spots all over the walls. I think the drainage is pushing back a bad smell back into my bathroom.i put alot of solutions and chemicals which are toxic.But still it stinks like hell.
