but went to see a solicitor in September when he told me it was a straightforward case and would be over and done with in 3-4 months. I am still waiting to be taken to court. Is this an acceptable time span especially as I am not denying anything?

If so what percetange can they take for back taxes owed?
Or will they just cart me off to the pokey?
Is this a big deal or should I go see the tax man before I make a move.
I had a 100 fee turn into 4,000 dollars,and I had about 20 grand total gambling winnings from last year I need to pay on,any advice?(that 100-400 was from about 3-4 years ago)

I apreciate everyones responses and advise. It is greatly appreciate. While I know my posting regarding my BF & I are confusing. You'll need to some of it two or three times to get all of the intricacies straight. Just to be clear the woman I'm referrging to is not the mother of is boys, but his previous ex before him and I dated. He is not the father of her child. While I know her boy is attached to my BF & his boys, which is understanable. It seems 2 me that my BF guy has a habit of spreading himself around several women, & not remaining committed 2 any of them. Add to that their kids, his kids, my daughter become attached to him, and each other (kids bond more readily and more deeply sometimes than adults). The other women kept calling him texting him cause obviously he had not made clean breaks with any of them, and they used the childrens' attachment to him and his kids as a way of keeping ties on him.

The toilet in my spare bathroom is not working nor is there any water. The water was working just fine a few weeks ago and the valve is still turned on but no water is coming out nor do I hear the sound of water running.

I turned the valve off and on again and still don't hear or see water coming into the tank.

The water in the bathroom sink is working so I'm not sure why the toilet would all the sudden stop functioning.

I have well water, could the minerals in the water have caused a blockage in the lines or is there something else that would cause the water to just stop running? This bathroom is not used very often so the toilet does not get flused daily like the other bathroom in the house. Do I need to get a hold of a plumber ASAP or is this something common that happens.

my last menstrual period was may 28. june 28..i didn't have my period (didn't have sex within that period), but i expected this since it's usually irregular. july 5 i had sex, with my partner using a condom. till now, i still don't have my period. i did a home pregnancy test (which is 12 days after the intercourse) and the result was negative. can i rely on this or is the test just too early to be accurate? i am not experiencing anything unusual (nausea, overfatigue, constipation, urinary frequency), still i am worried. could i be pregnant?

There's the "Big Three" (Buddhism, Islam, and Christianity). Spend any time here and the Christian take on evolution and the genesis of the universe (per science via the Big Bang) is clear. It seems like Buddhism has some belief in reincarnation, and I really don't know much about Islam (not from ignorance but from lack of exposure). So, what are some of these religion's explanations for humans being here? (Or ANY other religion's take on humanity coming to exist on Earth for that matter) On the creation of the universe and how Buddha/Allah/etc fits into the respective genesis story?

so my computer has a wireless interent connection to my brothers computer. the channel used to be set to 6 but then i couldnt connect to the internet so i changed it to channel 11. it was working better and ch 11 has a signal strength 20% higher than ch 6. but my computer keeps losing connection and then switches to ch 6. i dont understand why it doesnt stay on 11. when it changes to 6, i have no internet. but i dont understand because my brothers computer is set to 11 and so is mine. how can i keep it from changing to ch 6???
