so my computer has a wireless interent connection to my brothers computer. the channel used to be set to 6 but then i couldnt connect to the internet so i changed it to channel 11. it was working better and ch 11 has a signal strength 20% higher than ch 6. but my computer keeps losing connection and then switches to ch 6. i dont understand why it doesnt stay on 11. when it changes to 6, i have no internet. but i dont understand because my brothers computer is set to 11 and so is mine. how can i keep it from changing to ch 6???

your router is on channel 6. you need to set your router to ch 11. then set your wireless profile to this channel. save the profile and make it default.

Apparently your router is set for Ch. 11. Your pc needs to be configured to go to Ch. 11. Check the config of your pc as it apparently is incorrect.
