my last menstrual period was may 28. june 28..i didn't have my period (didn't have sex within that period), but i expected this since it's usually irregular. july 5 i had sex, with my partner using a condom. till now, i still don't have my period. i did a home pregnancy test (which is 12 days after the intercourse) and the result was negative. can i rely on this or is the test just too early to be accurate? i am not experiencing anything unusual (nausea, overfatigue, constipation, urinary frequency), still i am worried. could i be pregnant?

I spoke with a doctor about this, since my girlfriend and I had the same concern. Those tests are really accurate and generally you'll be able to know 5-7 days after intercourse from a test like that.

I wouldn't be concerned, especially if you used a condom.

since its been that long without a period I would think the test should be accurate. However, you need to go to the doctor to see why your period hasn't come.
