Quran Surah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers)
"
12. And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay (water and earth).
13. Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman).
14. Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allh, the Best of creators.
15. After that, surely, you will die.
16. Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection.

Some people say that the Prophet Muhammad (saw) wrote the Qur'an himself..
Some also say the Qur'an is the doctrine of lies..
Well, if the Qur'an is indeed the doctrine of lies, how can the Verses of the Qur'an match the now scientific discoveries?
Was it a coinsidence?
How can something 1400 years ago be a coinsidence?
May Allah guide us all..

You have to take into account that the early muslim's, like the early jews, were nomadic people, and not versed in the intracies of science. They only knew what they saw, and they envisioned the way they thought man was created.
Other than verse 14, it closely mirrors genesis. God created man of earth, and then created woman from man's rib.

Islam borrowed very heavily from the Torah, which was written 3,500 before Islam was invented...

Sounds like the writing style of Muhammad.
I studied Islam for two years from Muslims and still can't deny the divinity of Jesus or accept Muhammad as a Prophet.
But each to their own!
Peace be with you!

I guess I agree with line 15. Which is pretty good percentage for a scripture posting. Good job!

the belief that man came from clay shows a link between islam and judaism and christianity.
as for the development of the fetus, highly inaccurate.
and no, we aren't made of clay, no matter what the followers of allah or jehovah or YHWH believe.

I still think that science is the only one who backs up their claims with actual evidence.
