Our Schnauzer who is 13yrs old, recently cannot control her bowels. She doesn't even try to let us know that she has to go anymore.
I know a lot of dogs when they get into the senior years that they may have this problem.
It happens about three times a month, and I always wake up to a mess, usually dark watery brown.
We take her out often, even if we should get up in the middle of the night to go ourselves, and yet I still wake up to her mess.
I don't know if this is a serious probably which requires me to call a vet or not. I can not leave her outside. She is only 14lbs.
I also can not crate her. She is too old for that method. I have not changed her food, though I do add white rice occasionally when she has her accidents. Seems to bind her.
Any suggestions?

ok so here is my dilemma I just recently got back in touch with my childhood best friend and I am going to ask her to be in the wedding. we have already chosen our wedding party. i know she won't mind be adding now bc we have just reconnected.
however now in order to even up things we have to ask another groomsmen...which in this case is going to be my other brother.
my one brother was already asked to be in the wedding party from the start. how do i ask my other bro without making
him seem second rate? orignally we only chose 3 people on each side bc i didn't have a 4th and also bc we couldn't afford it.
but now we are under budget and can afford the extra people a bit more.
i just need to know how to approach asking my other brother should we give him an explanation or just ask?

I myself feel more comfortable with a female rather than a male. I actually switched obgyn's because the male doctor that I was going to barely even listened to a word I said and he treated his patients like cattle. My new female doctor is amazing. She's open minded, listens, and has great advice (plus she has two kids so she's been in my shoes before!) So what do you think, if you had a choice, would you go with a male or female doc and why? I'm not trying to discriminate against male obgyns, but I trust female ones more than males especially if they've had children before. They know the kinda pain we go through, ect, ect.

I got a few recipes for home made soft pretzels, and they are all almost the same, except a couple say to let the dough sit and rize first before shaping them, and a few say to knead the dough and then shape and bake right away. Which is a better method? To let rise first or to just go ahead and bake first? What will be the difference in the outcome?

i have a really small kitchen and it smells really bad..it's because of my disposal my sink smells up the whole kitchen I have tried using bleach, pine sol, baking soda and even a lemon down the disposal thats what i was told to try and the smell keeps coming back it will clear it up for maybe a day or two but always comes back..i have contacted the apartments i live in and they have someone look at it but always tell me its fine and recommend the same thing i have used...does anyone know what can take the smell around permanetly??

Does it bother democrats their agend of quitting is the consistent with al queda's agenda of having us lose? Why does the liberal media focus only on the negative in Iraq and not the schools built, the mosque's built and the hospitals opened?
