A friend of mine just bought a house there. I'm so glad for email. It shortens the distance between friends. I hope your house is everything you wanted and your family thrives there.

Charlotte itself is terrible to live in......You might want to think in terms of Concord/Kannapolis, Hunterville, Davidson, Gastonia, Denver, North Carolina and Fort Mills/Rock Hill, South Carolina. Crime rate and education is from bad to terrible in most of Mecklenburg county.

However with each of those listed cities, you will be close enough to use the best parts of Charlotte. Please remember that parking in downtown Charlotte is either terrible or non-existent. What little there is available in located in bad parts of town plus they are trying to build a new baseball stadium which will add to the parking woes.

I used to live there for a short time, years ago, but after I got tired enough of all the strange bugs biting me, I decided to move further south. Bugs bit me there, too, but at least I knew what they were! (Not joking).
