Ok? Not really but it is the way a lot of Doctors are chosing to do business these days. If this was my Doctor, I would be out looking for a new Doctor, one that was willing to see me in person.

If you have a new illness or problem, he needs to see you in person. If it's just something like discussing side-effects or refilling a prescription, then he's saving you both time and money. Just don't let a phone call be a substitute for a real examination.

It depends on what the conference is about.
If it is for a diagnosis then l would have thought face to face was best.
