it's my first time on a plane and i'm a little nervous about airport security. i know they have a rule about having only 3 oz. of liquid in your carry on. i was just wondering if it would be okay to have my liquid foundation in my purse even if my purse isn't going in my carry on bag. it has metal on it so i figured it would set off alarms.

Why are so many of God's people so comfortable with their spiritual lives following the teachings of men? (i.e. your pastors, teleevangelists, authors, etc).

im going over there to visit my family. im just wondering what i should take [im going to stay over there for a MONTH!] what should i take? are there new rules on what you can take on the plane? its not my first time on a plane its just that i have only a week to get ready!

I am a writer who likes to doodle, primarily sci-fi and fantasy. I am a huge dragon fan, and my 360 avatars should be a dead give-away.

Though the art and writing has yet to seriously compete with my day job, it's that which helps me ease through the sometimes very unnerving, stressful aspects of real life.

I've only been actively drawing since the end of June '03, as a coping mechanism of my mother's death (believe me, it's a LOT more therapeutic than turning to the bottle!) and hadn't completed anything new since '91, while in high school.

I am on Elfwood and Deviantart and a few other places, and do artwork as a hobby, not for side income. I am trying to get my first novel (not available online) published the old-fashioned way.

I use Prismacolors, Staedtler Mars Professional ink pens (usually 0.35 or 0.35 micron tips) and 6H-8B pencils. I have very much to learn, and have no illusions regarding my limited skill level. No digital art, yet.

How about the rest of you?

My best friend is an amazing dancer. The thing is at 5'10 she ways 335lbs and her weight has really affected her confidence, she never comes out with us anymore she just hides at home all the time. When she hits the dance floor she blows everyone away..she is soo talented. She told me she really wants to start taking professional dance classes not only to impove her talent but to lose weight. I told her it was a wonderful idea but she feels she's too fat to do this. Please..any opinions will help. Will a Profesional dance class accept her as she is?

I have a 97 Kawi ZX9R that I bought to fix, the tire was hitting the fairing at the bottom. I had the forks checked (they were bent so installed new forks but the problem hasnt improved much, so I suspect the triple trees but not sure how to check them. I married a beautiful girl from Germany. I dated several American women ( i did not have physical relations with any of them), and just found that most of them did not value abstinance, and had alot of baggage ( I was in my mid-20 during this heavy dating time). I decided to go back to the old country and found a beautiful girl that shared my morals. Since I have married, I have met alot of other guys that made a decision to find a wife abroad ( in the Phillipines, Eastern Europe and Russia) because they feel American women have lost alot of the values that you look for in a wife. These guys are physically fit, and have great careers.
Alot of us have gotten flack from american women (including family members) who think we buy our wives ( they us the term mail-order bride). Nothing can be furthur from the truth. These are real people, with real feelings, and both of you have to choose one another. I would like to hear everyones feelings on this.
