yet it is bogged down on two fronts, stretching its fighting forces to the breaking point, wasting many of its assets ( human and machine), and sending injured and crippled soldiers back into combat. All the while China, with its million plus man army, nuclear weapons, and vast arsenals, and Russia ( with whom relations have cooled ) conduct joint war games

Time to rethink this whole " worlds only superpower" before you are blindsided.

I won't publicise his name, but BBC News 24 & Sky News have since yesterday been broadcasting each hour the recorded message of a foreign Imam who is being sought for inciting terrorist attacks in the UK. His full sick message is being played in Arabic with written English subtitles & sometimes also with a verbal English translation.

I'd like to know how the news channels think this is of public benefit & WHY they broadcast it? These terrorist leaders don't need illegal websites or distribution networks anymore, because the BBC & Sky publicise them for free to the nation for all their followers to hear! Surely we need to impose strict laws about this to stop such messages being aired on UK TV? I feel so angry about it. The BBC didn't broadcast Nazi propaganda during WW2 so why do they publicise terrorist messages these days?

My boyfriends mum comes to our new house everyday to keep our dog company for a few hours while we are at work. The trouble is she keeps doing my housework, moving things around making our bed!!! Whilst I am grateful of her help with the dog I feel very uncomfortable with this, especially the bedmaking! Am I being petty? How should i address this problem?

Three men were discussing ageing at the nursing home.
Sixty is the worst age to be,' said the 60-year-old.
You always feel like you have to pee.
And most of the time, you stand at the toilet and nothing comes
out!'

'Ah, that's nothin ',' said the 70-year-old.
When you're seventy, you don't have a bowel movement anymore.
You take laxatives, eat bran, you sit on the toilet all day and
nothin' comes out!'

'Actually,' said the 80-year-old, 'Eighty is the worst age of all.'

'Do you have trouble peeing too?' asked the 60-year-old.

'No, not really. I pee every morning at 6:00.
I pee like a racehorse on a flat rock; no problem at all.'

'Do you have trouble having a bowel movement?'

'No, I have one every morning at 6:30.'

With great exasperation, the 60-year-old said, 'Let me get this
straight.
You pee every morning at 6:00 and poop every morning at 6:30. So
what's so tough about being 80?'

'I don't wake up until 7:00.'

I drove the car around the city this afternoon and came back home. I had to head to the Uni in the evening and tried starting the car. It wouldn't budge. The horn, headlight and everything work fine. I even removed the battery and charged it completely, but it wouldn't start. I don't even hear the 'krrrrrr' it used to make everytime i started the car. Don't know what happened. It was working fine this morning. Please help!

In the UK today 4 failed suicide bombers whose guilt is unquestionable & who would have potentially killed & maimed hundreds if their bombs exploded were sentenced to a minimum of 40 years each in a UK prison. We're also due to have a similar trial in the future for those who failed with the latest attacks using gas/nail devices in cars.

1. Is it right that the UK taxpayer will now PAY approx. £42K for EACH failed bomber's stay in jail EACH year & that the home countries of these FOREIGN nationals will not be asked to pay a penny towards their prison bill, considering how overcrowded & financially stretched our prisons are already? Is this fair justice for us, or punishment for them?
2. In cases such as these ALONE should the death penalty be introduced where the failed bombers guilt is unquestionable & where he intended to kill himself anyway? If not, why?
