You need to have the right weight ratio for your strap and then I would suggest a tow strap. The chain is just a pain sometimes. So, Jeremy Toubl, I say us a tow strap.

Check your state law even though there is a law not allowing strap chain towing in Texas people do it any way. Strap is softer but can tear chain really hits when slack is introduced. Tow bars are better connected to a hitch. When in doubt hire a tow truck 60 80 dollars for one way trip around town. Safer less chance of damage.
