Yes, they should be executed. While some will argue that they will become martyrs as they intended to die for a cause, if they are executed and do not take any innocent lives in the process, then there is no martyrdom done. I support and eye-for-an-eye punishment for bastards like these guys. Go ahead and strap them to the same bombs they were going to use and blow them up in a field in the middle of nowhere. They are a disgrace to mankind and they shame what it is to be a human being.

If I was just another crazy lefty loon I might suggest that the victims were the perpetrators and the perpetrators were the victims. Oh wait a moment, many on the left already suggest this. Ok, let me try this one. It's actually our fault that Radical Muslims are killing Americans. No this won't work because this has been suggested too. I know, As Americans we deserve to be attacked by Terrorists. Yeah and we shouldn't call them what they are "Radical Muslims" because this might upset these poor folks and we wouldn't want to do that would we? The sad thing is that so many of you weak minded Liberals actually do think this way that we are going down a very bad path where things are not likely to get better. It's past time that you begin living in the real reality instead of the one you wish existed. No matter who is offended, a spade is a spade. WE ARE AT WAR WITH RADICAL MUSLIM TERRORISTS!

THIS IE THE ANSWER GIVEN TO ANOTHER
The death penalty should never be a solution to anything but, and hey with me there is always a "but", the serial murders of children or any serial murderer in fact..I am not talking a terrorist who believes he has a cause, and I believe many do..remember, if they had had the death penalty for terrorism, many Jewish leaders, Ben Gurien, the King David Hotel, anfrom Israel's developing days and of course the world would never have known Nelson Mandela and never forget the American forefathers..to King George maybe George Washington was a terrorist..and hey let's even go back to Cromwell or the leaders of the French Revolution..no, the death penalty is not the answer..the answer is get rid of the cowboys like Bush and get people who understand why a boy will strap on a bomb and give his life to kill innocent people..because he has a cause..and a cause to die for is just maybe what North Americans need to get their country back for the corporate thieves..so am I a terrorist for saying that?..maybe...a philosophical Anarchist..definitely...but we all have causes it is just how far we have to go...in the US when the towers were taken down, the U.S. media was obsessed with Gary Conditd while Palestinians were dying in the streets and nothing was being reported..the terrorist has to act to get the attention of the world and that alone is a sad comment...if we follow what you MAY be advocating, then what about politicians, and I will not name them because it is obvious who I am talking about, who order torture and death in the name of a war that does not exist..the bombing of innocents because they have some goal most of us have yet to unsderstand..should people like that not be executed..how many innocents can we accredit to the likes of Rumsfeld..he is even responsible for supplying the chemicals used on the Kurds..no, never the death penalty unless it is a sadistic serial killer and then I am behind it...Sorry you set me off..I will try to contain my answers in the future.

No its absolutely no fair at all. i don't think they should be executed though. Even if they had killed people. Why.... Why should we end their life.. wheres the pain in that for them??? They should live a life of suffering and guilt, Make them pay for it, Once they are dead their life is over... i.e no pain!!!
No we shouldn't pay for them, Especially in this case when these Dr's that we have trained up and pay wages to have turned against us, We should deport them and make their own prisons deal with them... Its highly likely they have worse and more strict ways of dealing with them than we do...I don't believe in the death penalty, To me it solves nothing. these people go around maming murdering and causing chaos and ruin...they need to be punished, Whats the punishment in death. I didn't even see the point in Hussain being hung. His life is over now.... is he suffering in another life.. who knows but i can't see it.... If someone had hurt my kids 'god forbid' i'd wanna see some suffering...

Once you allow an exception to due process, you open the floodgates for all kinds of exceptions. Should rapists whose DNA is found at the scene be automatically guilty and denied a trial? So no, I don't think there is ever a case where due process should be revoked. I do think that these people could be considered POWs instead of criminals, and thus can be tried for war crimes.

I feel very sick with the array of arrogant and senseless answers that smack of equal hate and hostility (as in the mind of a terrorist)... Can fire be put out with fire? can violence for violence solve the issue? For the vanity and greed of the Europeans the world paid a heavy price in the WWs 1 & 2... Now it is the turn of the terrorists of the mid east to take the world for ransom...
Had Lord Jesus lived only to give this message? We had not learnt anything from history... India got freedom without any violence against the English who applied all forms of inhuman suppression on the nationalists.. But the peace loving natives did get their freedom...
The terrorists have been indoctrinated to hate and kill the people who did not follow their Faith... This disease of acute (pathological) ethnocentrism has to be addressed in the same way you would treat an addict to alcohol or drug..
Find the means of reversing their convictions and send them back into the world.. Atleast think in this way rather than find ways of saving your prison budget by killing or torturing or deporting and all...
Only vibarations of love and tolerence would save the world... you have been witnessing too long at the sufferings of terror stricken parts of the world and it is now your turn to face it.. Deal with it more wisely.. May Lord Jesus help you to win the terrorists with love and wisdom.

What punishment is there in death?
They were prepared to die.
I want them to suffer, I love the fact that one who tried to kill himself with fire was rescued only to experience the pain and no worthwhile future for him afterwards. They suffer more alive, than dead.
What we need is someone who tries this to die, and be brought back to life, but instead of talking about moving towards a bright light while he was dead, when he comes round he is screaming with terror of what he has just experienced, that could stop them believing they go to paradise for killing people.

Really difficult one this...
On one hand, they should be executed for terrorism, saving us money and definitely stopping them from getting out and trying again
However, their mission was to die for their God and hence, if we execute them, we are martyring them (in the eyes of their fellow terrorists) and therefore strengthening their resolve.
Overall, I'd say that they should rot in prison, but have all of their human rights revoked (absolutely no chance of leaving prison etc). They should be exempt from all conventions, treaties and rights (In other words, torture should be legal on these inhumans)

The principle is clear, we can't sit on the fence about killing people...the sad thing is you're bemoaning the fact that they're living, and not the fact that so much is spent on them. Humans should only be killed if they pose an immediate threat, anything else is barbaric.

No death is too good for them let them rot in jail. I would say the same for any child murderer etc. I don't believe in the death sentence let them live with the guilt and remind them daily of what scum they are.
This has nothing to do with Muslims in particular because most Muslims want to live in peace.
The death sentence would make these bombers think that they are some kind of martyrs.
