I have to take the high way everyday to get to work, and i have been tryin to stay under 70 since this started but now i cant even go 60-65 and it will start knocking like. and when i get off the highway on to the off ramp it will just sit there knocking , and when i hit the gas it gets faster, and it seems a little slower like not so ready to move. I drive Buick Park Ave. And after a mile or 2 it stops, i scared one day its not going to. i used to have riviera that the engine blew in and my park ave sounds just like it. HELP ME PLEASE MY CAR SOUNDS LIKE A HOOPTY

My boyfriend recently moved to a different city from me for reasons unrelated to our relationship. We discussed the move in detail and both agreed there was more opportunity for him in a larger metro area. He moved in with a woman, I know her and approve of her, until he is on his feet again. It bothers me a little but I trust him and I trust her. Still, though I know it is a wise economical solution, I get that little jealous feeling because, well, she becomes an important person in his life.

He came to visit me last weekend before starting his new job this Monday. We had a great time together and he called me Sunday night to tell me he made it home safely. I've not heard from him since. My feelings are badly hurt, that he didn't call to tell me how his new job was going, or just to say hello. He has had a lot on him recently and I don't want to be negative, but I'm sued to hearing from him, either my phone or via YM everyday. I'm jealous and hurt. Please help me.

My friend and i both have gotten our puppies at the same time.... hers a chihuahua and mine a shih tzu.

Max (mine) is very smart he can do tons of tricks and the dog trainer said he was one of the smartest in his classes... however he has a chewing problem (he does it when i am not there) and sometimes whines to be with me.

everytime we talk about our problems she always suggests hitting him till he whines.... I hate this advice and sometimes we get into arguments over it. she obviously hits her dog so hard that she makes him cry and supposedly this makes him stop doing whatever it is he was punished for.

ive tried tapping max while forcefully saying no when i catch him in the act but i dont want to hurt him or have him fear me rather than obey me

what do you think

I've recently moved to Texas and it is so hot and dry here, I've killed just about everything I tried to grow outside. I have never had an herb garden before but was wondering if they are okay to grow inside where they wouldn't have a lot of access to sunlight and which ones might be a little heartier and easier to take care of since I have such a black thumb. ok look i am not stereotyping, and it is not just my grandma, i have three good sisters....lets be honest, "our", all of our grandmas lived differently back in the day, putting family first, sacrificing to take care of their husbands and children, now some still do that today but statistically speaking it has decreased quite a bit..i am wondering why? i am not sexiest.. i actually am a physical therapist and work in a nursing home so i know the history of my patients and their lives...i can compare, not being shallow or mad...this is general

I always thought that the whole idea of original sin came from Adam and Eve taking the apple in the garden of Eden, and that tainted all their descendents. This is part of the heritage that Jews and Christians share, so I assumed they believed the same thing.

When did Christians start believing in the idea of original sin, rather than the original(?) Jewish idea of original purity?

and many of the teachers here are outraged. What course of action could I take to see that these people (administrators) are held accountable for this. I know that it's illegal and it really goes against everything that I believe in. Just because they didn't do their job in getting kids to come to school, doesn't mean that they have the right to break the law so that they look good. The school district, which is in a major port city in South Carolina, probably turns their heads because they want to look good as well. What should I do? It's just not right! If there are any school lawyers out there that could help, that would be great.

I considered George Bush one of the greatest Presidents we ever had on September 11th, 2001. He remained calm when he was told about it, he made an awesome speech that rallied the nation that night, and for once in our history, almost every country on the globe was our friend. I was never prouder to be American on 9/11/2001. But, Bush blew it on March 20th, 2003 when US troops invaded Iraq. He changed his story many times about why we were over there, like how Saddam aided al-Qaeda, Saddam had WMDs, etc. The world grew angry with the US and is still angry with us to this day because we are in a war that should not have even happened, or if it did, our troops should have been out years ago. Had Bush never lied about Iraq and had he never invaded, he might have been one of the best Presidents in history when he left office and left a great legacy. Instead, he leaves with a legacy that surrounds the Iraq War.

What do you do if your period is coming on the day of your wedding? Is there anything you can do to stop your period from coming on the day of your wedding? The groom said it's fine he just wants to have me as his wife and it doesn't matter if we don't consumate our wedding night on the wedding night. But i just feel bad, why did we (girls) have to have periods? Is there anything I can do to make this night special if it does come one the day of the wedding?

My wife and I have a great marriage and really open communication. About a month ago she confessed a fantasy about being with another woman. We have talked a lot about it, watched some girl on girl movies and had fun with the whole fantasy. I have some experience with scooters and motorcycles. The only motorcylce i have used before was my grandpa's bike which i believe is a Yamaha and its quite old since the early 90's. But im very short and i have to wear high boots or very high heels to even hop on it and my feet barely touched the ground. Im about 4'10 and i weigh about 130pds. This would be my first bike buying on my own, so are there any good sites for not too expensive bikes?

Hi, i'm looking for a clear explanation as to what transformers are. What i know is that they are something to do with coils of wire round a core of a metal, there's some kind of inductance there, and it all has to do with an electro motive force, and what in god's name has the ratio of primary to secondary turns have to do with anything ?
Anyone who can explain these things will get 5 whole points, or whatever the amount of points you get for getting the answer right is.
