I mean from the old division 1

It looks like all the English teams have been relegated from the Old Division 1 at one time or another.
Or to put it another way, any team that has never been to the Old Division 1 would have never been relegated because it cannot possibly happen.

Everton were relegated from the top flight last in the 1950-51 season. All the major teams in the Premier League have been relegated at some time in their history. Arsenal 1913 returned 1919 remain the longest unbroken run. Everton have the most years in total. Liverpool were last out of the top flight in the early 1960's. Manchester United relegated in 1974, Chelsea 1988. The only 2 teams in the top flight never to have been relegated are Reading and Wigan Athletic, this is because it is the first time either have been in the top flight in their history.

Arsenal. Everton have been relegated. They were Div 1 champions in 1927-28 but were Div 2 Champs 1930-31 and Div 1 champs again the year after (1931-32).

I NOW think Arsenal have been relegated after L'Enfant Terrible found that info on wikipedia I did more digging and found a website that has every top flight league in England since the Football leagues started and saw this...

arsenal and everton have been relegated from the old division 1. so for the prem, there's a long list beginning with the big 4.

If you want to claim "Arsenal" have never been relegated, just because they had a different name then "MK Dons" were never relegated untill 2006......
