I know I have to take chemistry, calculus, and physics... basically as many math and science classes as I can. That's what I read, anyway.

TV, HT Reciever, DVD, and old X-box supplied 220V by overzealous electricians. Is it just a matter of replacing the power supplies? Or will repairs be more than equipment is worth? Most components were 5 yrs. old or older.

I am in a campaign at the moment and being a fighter/theif I have managed to collect a huge stash of PPs , EPs, GPs and SPs and numerous other valuble items. I want to invest in some magical items but am very rusty on whats about - any ideas on what I should ask my DM for and hint at finding?
My alignment is C/N so I am very much open to bad things and good, if you see what I mean.

I found pictures of my father and another man dressed in woman's lingerie. They were in a hotel room wearing pink bunny ears and my father had on a pink nightie and the other guy had on a pink bra? Should I say anything to him? He left them out in the open at his house when he knew I was coming up to visit, I wasn't snooping. Is he trying to tell me something?

She's a mini dachshund I have had since she was 8 weeks old. She has breast cancer, we were told about 4 years ago and I coudn't afford surgery. It has grown very large in the last several months to a year but she has not been in pain or discomfort until now, the last couple of days she seems to have a hard time getting comfortable laying down occasionally and has yelped a few times. She is like my child so I am having a hard time with this. I just wish I could have that tumor taken off and she would be O.K. She still gets around, eats, and occasionally plays. Well, she hasn't played in the last couple of days. Please, help me with this decision.

The World-Wide Web is the most powerful tool ever invented for the spreading of information. Lately, emerging as a powerful player on the internet, are sites such as Wikipedia, and Yahoo! Answers. Both of these sites are entirely constructed by the users of their communities, and in the case of Yahoo!, the "Best Answer" to a question often comes down to a vote.

What does this sort of information transfer do to the concept of objective truth? Is this a wise path for us to follow? Is there such a thing as objective truth, or does all truth come down to a vote?

Write to your city government and urge it to provide full funding for citizen review of police officers accused of human rights violations. If your city, county, or town does not have citizen review of your police, call for the creation of an effective civilian review unit. Police officials should do a better job at holding officers accountable if there is community pressure and knowledge about police investigations and disciplinary actions.

Write to your city government and urge it to require your police department to create and utilize "early warning" or "at-risk" systems to identify officers who are the subjects of repeated complaints or civil lawsuits alleging misconduct. A small percentage of officers often taint an entire police force because police superiors do not act to hold them accountable by supervising, disciplining, or dismissing them when appropriate. An effective early warning system could make a difference.

Write to your state legislators and governor urging the creating of a special prosecutor's office to handle the investigation and prosecution of police officers accused of brutality or corruption. As it is, local prosecutors are often reluctant to pursue cases against officers they typically work with, and federal prosecutors are under-staffed and similarly reluctant. Special prosecutors' offices in each state could go a long way toward prosecuting officers who commit criminal offenses; in turn, effective prosecution should act as a deterrent for officers who now believe they can avoid criminal prosecution for brutality in most cases.

Write to your U.S. Representative or Senators, urging them to condition federal funding to police departments on those departments' reporting on incidents of excessive force by their officers and on respect for human rights. Specifically, federal assistance should be conditioned upon the recipient police department providing data on excessive force to the Justice Department. In 1994, the Justice Department was instructed by Congress to produce an annual report on excessive force used by police, yet four years later no such report exists. Federal aid should also be conditioned on the development of an effective "early warning" system to identify "repeat offenders" on the force. Furthermore, any police department the Justice Department determines as exhibiting a "pattern or practice"of abuse and which fails to implement reforms as agreed to with the Justice Department should have all federal aid terminated. Just as the U.S. is supposed to condition foreign military and other assistance on a country's human rights record, the federal government should not provide assistance to departments where officers are allowed to commit abuses with impunity.

When you take your dog out for a walk, why do you allow your mutt to take a crap in other people's yards?

And don't lie and say that you pick up after your dog, either. I bet that maybe .5% of all dog owners actually are conscientious.

He has been divorced for 12 yrs. has his own place but comes here to eat and sleep. Does not want to get married again. and does not want to move in with me. Just wants a snuggle bunny. But says he loves me. How do i get him to change his mind,. What more can i do to show him I am faithfull and will not hurt him.
