No but I think it should be Mothers Against Rap. I cannot believe some of the lyrics that are out there. We had a car come down the street the othe day to pick up a lady and her two kids. There was a guy in the car with two little kids. He had the rap blasting away - kill the whites, f___k the h__l out of them. Kill the chinks, spread this, lick that, etc. Great way to raise your kids. Besides that he had an open beer in the car and pulled out a joint and lit it up. I told my neighbor he was just doing this to be smart. He knew everyone was seeing him, and he was daring them to say something. I wouldn't let me kids anywhere near someone like that.
And our parents said the Beatles were subversive. Nothing can compare to the trash out there today. Nothing of talent goes into standing there talking to music, waving your hands around or humping the air (videos).
I love Kiss and do listen to a variety of music. If I don't like something, I turn it off. However, there is enough hatred in the world today. When music generates more of the same as a family value, then it is not good. These kids are learning to be racists.

They shouldn't try to control what people listen to. It should be Mothers Against Rap. I hate rap. Rap degrades women, talk about drugs and being a "pimp" (lame) Not that rap is music because it isn't. There's nothing wrong with metal, I love it. The parents should pay attention to what their kids listen to if they don't like it. They shouldn't ruin it for everyone else.

HOW WRONG IS THAT!! Rock shows musical freedom. It was made to show rebellion and I can see why they are against it. But people like Marilyn Manson show why people hate rock. He embraces freedom and doesn't care what other people think of him. He's still going and has gotten a bad rep for being who he wants to be. I think it is a major invasion of our rights and just cause they're against it doesn't mean all mothers are. They should keep their opinions to themselves.
Long live Marilyn Manson!!!

You people are so naive! I love heavy metal and everything it stand for. I am not a "devil worshiper" or "satanic" I am actually baptist. But there are christian metal bands out there too. Do you think 50 cent is satanic cause all he wants to do is shoot people and bang hoes? Right! Or even supposedly harmless music like madonna, look at her 80's stuff, teenage pregnancy (papa dont preach). People that think that metal is just satanism are shallow minded and judgemental. Also I dont consider Manson metal, he's like goth or something. Iron Maiden, now that is metal.

Heard it was fake too. It sounded like the kinda thing that would've been done in the 80s anyway. Heavy metal isn't the big "threat" is used to be.

Haha. That brings me back. When i was younger my mother would let me listen to anything except for Nine Inch Nails. I accually thought Nine Inch Nails was bad. Turns out what she was trying to sheild me from was the song i heard on the radio over and over and over again.
