I think a couple should agree on four basic things before getting married or otherwise deepening their level of commitment:

1. Kids (Have 'em? Want 'em? If so, how many?)
2. Pets (dogs, cats, exotics, number)
3. Onions and garlic (pro or con, there needs to be agreement at dinner.)
4. Smoking (For about the same reasons as onions and garlic, but there are also health issues.)

I think that a couple that disagrees on these things is in trouble. Others may disagree, or have their own beliefs on what a couple should agree on.

I am looking for the name of a murder series that was shown on BBC Wales around 1996/1997 starring Robert Pugh as the lead character. One of the episodes was filmed in the house where I grew up and to would love to know how to get hold of the series or just to be able to watch the episode online. Can anyone remember what it was called? I'm sure it had the word Murder in the title.

we got a new puppy so he could play with our 1 year old maltese... at first they both were so excited and playing all day... i feel that my maltese is gettting very jelous... he dont want to share his toys and i understand that, he also dont like the little puppy to lay with him in his car bed. So i let the maltese to lay on his bed and i made a little bed for our little one until we buy his new bed. i dont know what to do should we give him back... i dont want them both to be unhappy... the little one is a lhasa apso he's 3 months old and nutered... what should i do... the store lets you return him before 5 days... but.. i dont want to he's too cute. do you think this is going to go away and they will get along just fine? helppppppp

You're in a shoe shop, second in the queue for the till. Behind the shop assistant on the till is a pair of shoes which you have seen & which you must have.

The female shopper in front of you has seen them also & is eyeing them with desire. Both of you have forgotten your purses.

It would be rude to push in front of the first woman if you had no money to pay for the shoes. The shop assistant remains at the till waiting.

Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop & sees your dilemma. She prepares to throw her purse to you.

If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other shopper & buy the shoes! At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and "whilst it is in flight" you could nip around the other shopper, catch the purse & buy the shoes!

BUT, you must always remember that until the purse has "actually been thrown", it would be plain wrong for you to be in front of the other shopper & you would be OFFSIDE!

ex-employee starts own business, then decides to start calling established customers informing them he is now in business and will charge less than the ex-employer, apparently stole customer info from ex-employer. should ex-employer make report to immigration that this ex-employee has filed for citizneship, got his green card through an arranged marriage, divorced after receiving green card, has a common law wife and one child that are illegal, one child is a u.s. citizen and he is evading the state attorney general in order to avoid a DNA test for a child from another woman. all are facts no assumptions.

It has been 25 years seeing my brother in law criticizing everyone except his wife (his wife is exactly like him) and children. He is very successful moneywise, but he has no manners at all. I have a college diploma and could not get a job, he would say in front of the whole world, "look at her, she has wasted her money going college for nothing". Anything I buy, he would say, "look at her, she is wasting her money". He talks about others in a same manner and would insult others. He always think, he is right, everyone is wrong.If anyone makes mistake, he would say, "I knew it, it would happen", or he would say, " see I told you". If he gives any favour to anyone, he would tell to the whole world. If he gives you a gift, he would tell you the price he paid.
Is there anyway to stop him?
