Our government cannot account for millions of weapons missing in Iraq, many of which were given to Iraq. Today, I read on the internet that the government of Iraq states that if we leave, a civil war will result, and that we have a "responsiblity" to stay. They insist we must stay until their policemen are "trained." Iraq is already in a Civil War, and we have no responsiblity to let their sectarian violence kill of more Americans. Our soldiers get only months of training, and not years of training like we have been giving to the Iraqi police. Would it be more sensible to withdraw our troops to the borders of Iraq or to certain bases outside of the cities and let the Iraqi government know they must solve their political differences, and that the solution is not to kill American soldiers?

We're told, in Luke 21:11, that "fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven" near the time of Christ's return.

NASA satellite has recorded the first detailed images from space of a mysterious type of cloud called "night-shining" or "noctilucent."

The clouds are on the move, brightening and creeping out of polar regions, and researchers don't know why.

"It is clear that these clouds are changing, a sign that a part of our atmosphere is changing and we do not understand how, why or what it means," said atmospheric scientists James Russell III of Hampton University in Hampton, Va.

I would like to get a puppy for my daughter. I have decided against a Jack Russel as I am concerned for our guinea pigs, Yorkshire Terriers look cute and are about the right size but, have 'Terrier' in their title - will a Yorkie poise a threat to the GPs'? The GP's are securely kept in a run.

Let me just say i know this girl for short of time but my feelings towards her grow bigger and stronger every second of it. She doesnt know i'm into girls and i don't know she into girls either. We went out before and she did enjoy herself with me, sometimes i notice she stare at me and smile a lot but when i asked her, she change the topic. She's the quiet type so i understand for her being that way, even for me to approach her before really take me some times. I dont know what to do b'coz sometimes she pushing me away and when i step back she pulling me back. Now i'd asked her out and waiting for her confirmation, how can i make it obvious for her to notice that i'm into her without telling her directly..? whenever i met her i'm not being myself, i'm kinda blur out... How can i tell she's interested...?

p.s: I'm about to lose my mind now... 24/7 i constantly thinking about her... even every night in my dream she's in it...

Two morons were in a parking lot trying to unlock the door of their Mercedes with a coat hanger. They tried and tried to get the door open, but they couldn't. The one with the coat hanger stopped for a moment to catch his breath, and the other said, anxiously, "Hurry up! It's starting to rain and the top is down."

I have a problem with being overconfident in social situations. I oftentimes know just what to say and do to create feelings in both guys and girls. This allows me to create feelings that make them become a better friend of mine. How can I stop being like this? I want it to end!!

My boyfriend is 5'7" and has a chest measurement of about 40", with a shoulder span of 21-22". He has a lot of trouble finidng coats that fit in the shoulder and the chest--if the chest fits, the shoulders are too wide and the coat is much too long, and if the shoulders fit the coat is too tight across the lower shoulders. I have been planning to sew him a coat for a while now and would like to know where I can find a pattern easily adjustable around the shoulder and length area, or one specially formatted to fit shorter men. Thank you!

A brick is lifted to a given height and then dropped to the ground. Next, a second brick, which weighs twiceas much as the first, is lifted just as high as the first and then it too is dropped to the ground. When the second brick strikes the ground it has:

a) half as much kinectic energy
b) as much kinectic energy as the first
c) twice as much kinectic energy as the first
d) four times as much kinectic energy as the first

As always, decide on only one answer. A correct answer accompanied by a correct explanation beats a correct answer by itself.

I believe that I already know the answer (please don't let me be wrong!) to the question. I offer this question for the challenge of solving it as well as for the educational value.

If you don't like the question (for whatever reason) just move on to another. There are pleanty more!

Onwards to glory (and points!)

We have been together 7 years and have a son together. If something were to happen to me, I know he and my son would be okay financially because I have left him everything. However, this would not be the case if something were to happen to him. His 2 brothers are his beneficiaries.

Though I have a good paying job, I still rely on his income to help pay our bills. I know we would struggle. And I also know that I would be the one to organize & pay for his funeral.

His argument is "My brothers aren't greedy. They won't leave you high and dry." I don't feel it should be necessary for me to ask them for anything.

Then he tells me, "You're so money hungry. How do I know when I die, you aren't going to spend it all on your new boyfriend?" WTF?! Maybe twice in the seven years we've been together have I asked him for money and it's never been for more than $20.

So am I wrong to be upset about this?
