So, I bought this goldfish, just one of those little 25 cent guys from the pet store. Although he is a goldfish, he was brown...up until about two weeks ago, then he completely transformed and now he is a gold goldfish! Why did he change colors like that?

I just wonder with all the lauding over her. To me she is a bug-eyed hag and scary to look at with that Cancer rising. The only thing attractive about her is looking away. The fake chest and other body work just adds to my disgust. What do anyone else feel or think?

I often hear Christians refer to homosexuality as the "crime against nature" or the "sin against nature." Even moreso, it's a sin of choice.

But animals can be homos/bi too. Hmm, that's strange. Animals can't sin, and they do not have the consciousness to make deviant "lifestyle choices".

In the approximately 1,000 to 3,000 species whose behavior has been well researched and described in the literature, approximately 450 (15-45%) have been shown to have clear homosexual behaviors.

(read Biological Exhuberance: Animal Homosexuality and Natural Diversity, by Bruce Bagemihl, Ph.D)

So there's a problem here.
-Either humans are not sinning against nature, since nature is observably quite queer,
-homosexuals have no choice,
-or, if you really feel bold, as a last resort you can argue that animals can sin/make choices afterall... but then there's Bonobo Chimpanzees, for instance, 100% bisexual (http://www.blockbonobofoundation.org/), every single one chooses to be bisexual?

White people brought black people over from their country to the US in chains so they can clean up, cook and grow their crops, but black people are called LAZY. Black people have advanced and become just as successful if not more successful that whites but black people are called IGNORANT. Black people have influenced every area of American culture but are called STUPID. White people own the boats and planes that bring drugs into this country but black people are called DRUGGIES. Black people are everywhere in the US. In the poor neighborhoods and the rich ones. They are in every state of the US. .

A white woman gave me her version of why racism exists: it was assumed that the black race would die off after slavery ended and when it didn't, whites became afraid of blacks and what they would do to them.
Why do white people think that a white man discovered America? How can you discover a land that had people on it when you arrived? IRNORANT? STUPID? LAZY? Somebody got it wrong.

For quite a while I have wanted to become a doctor. I would go into pediatrics and have my own practice, therefore making my own hours and I believe the pay on private doctors is slightly higher than others.

I have also, however, wanted to go into a Government agency, like the CIA or FBI, or especially the Secret Service. I am concerned about the pay here, however, and I don't really want to go to all of the rigorous training and physical requirments for such a low pay check, you know?

Law has always been another option for me. I suppose I could become a lawyer, but I just don't know...

I'm a little stuck. If you could offer your opinion that would be great!

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

PS. Don't mind the name, please don't let that sway your answer. Let's not be biased, here.

Okay hi all, i have a question, i was watching the news the other day, not American but Indian, and they had a story about a child and reincarnation. The kid in it kept on telling his family about names, brothers, sisters, uncles, wife , stuff like that. The kid was i forget how old, maybe 4 at the most, but he told them where he lived, and it said he only used to say those things at night, like over and over again. So the news said that the parents when to that town, located the previous family of who he said he was, and they said it had to be him. The kid also said who he was in a previous life and how he died! the family confirms it's true, both the name and how the death occured.

Thoughts??

The Original American Foreign Policy
By Ron Paul
"It is our true policy to steer clear of entangling alliances with any portion of the foreign world." – George Washington
I have written before about the critical need for Congress to reassert its authority over foreign policy, and for the American people to recognize that the Constitution makes no distinction between domestic and foreign matters. Policy is policy, and it must be made by the legislature and not the executive.
But what policy is best? How should we deal with the rest of the world in a way that best advances proper national interests, while not threatening our freedoms at home?
I believe our founding fathers had it right when they argued for peace and commerce between nations, and against entangling political and military alliances. In other words, noninterventionism.
Noninterventionism is not isolationism. Nonintervention simply means America does not interfere militarily, financially, or covertly in the internal affairs of other nations. It does not mean that we isolate ourselves; on the contrary, our founders advocated open trade, travel, communication, and diplomacy with other nations.
Thomas Jefferson summed up the noninterventionist foreign policy position perfectly in his 1801 inaugural address: "Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations — entangling alliances with none." Washington similarly urged that we must, "Act for ourselves and not for others," by forming an "American character wholly free of foreign attachments."
Yet how many times have we all heard these wise words without taking them to heart? How many claim to admire Jefferson and Washington, but conveniently ignore both when it comes to American foreign policy? Since so many apparently now believe Washington and Jefferson were wrong on the critical matter of foreign policy, they should at least have the intellectual honesty to admit it.
Of course we frequently hear the offensive cliché that, "times have changed," and thus we cannot follow quaint admonitions from the 1700s. The obvious question, then, is what other principles from our founding era should we discard for convenience? Should we give up the First amendment because times have changed and free speech causes too much offense in our modern society? Should we give up the Second amendment, and trust that today's government is benign and not to be feared by its citizens? How about the rest of the Bill of Rights?
It's hypocritical and childish to dismiss certain founding principles simply because a convenient rationale is needed to justify interventionist policies today. The principles enshrined in the Constitution do not change. If anything, today's more complex world cries out for the moral clarity provided by a noninterventionist foreign policy.
It is time for Americans to rethink the interventionist foreign policy that is accepted without question in Washington. It is time to understand the obvious harm that results from our being dragged time and time again into intractable and endless Middle East conflicts, whether in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, or Palestine. It is definitely time to ask ourselves whether further American lives and tax dollars should be lost trying to remake the Middle East in our image.
