Six weeks is about the average time ectopic pregnancies show symptoms. However, this doesn't mean you have an ectopic.

If you can, make an appointment with your OB/GYN for a transvaginal ultrasound. Make sure you get a *transvaginal* ultrasound rather than a transabdominal. The transvag uses a probe that will go inside you, and will get far better images than the the transab. This is important, because this early in your pregnancy, any gestational sac will be small, and will be more easily missed without the quality images that the transvag exam will provide.

If you haven't had one before, it might sound scary. It's not the most comfortable thing, but it doesn't usually hurt.

Of course, if you start bleeding and have severe pains, or if you start feeling lightheaded, DO go to the emergency room. Otherwise, please just make an appointment with your doctor--they should be able to get you in very quickly for those symptoms.

Oh, and ectopic pregnancies are dealt with by laparoscopic surgery--not medicinal abortives or D&Cs.

No, It doesn't sound like an tubal pregnancy from here, but if the pain is severe, go to the ER NOW!!! Your tube can rupture from a tubal pregnancy and you can die.

Otherwise....Welcome to the joys of pregnancy!!!! Your body is stretching to accomodate your new little one. You may even get some pretty strong cramps in the next few weeks to come.

You need to schedule an appt. with an ob/gyn, even if you don't have medical insurance. You can always get help with medical bills later.

What's with all this talk of the abortion pill too? Do you want to have this baby or not? If not, you're wasting our time and your precious points by asking.

Anyway, If it would be a tubal pregnancy, you would have laproscopic surgery to remove the pregnancy from the tube because it can not grow and survive in your tube..... sorry no other quick fixes. The pill wouldn't work anyway because the pregnancy is not in your uterus, neither would a d&c.

Abortion pill..no, it won't stop it. If it is an ectopic pregnancy, the only thing is to clean the tube out. I'm sorry...it may even be something other than that and the baby may be just fine. Go to the ER.

Doesn't sound ectopic in nature. I'd suggest you go see your doctor ASAP. It's silly to be in pain and not try to resolve it.

As far as the pill goes, it will not work since you are so far into the pregnancy.

If it needs to be resolved with a d&c, email me and I can tell you about my experience.

Good luck, and remember to take your prenatal vitamins!

Please don't take the abortion pill. It only works when it is in the uterus. Why don't you get proper medical care to see where the implantation is and make sure it isn't an ectopic then deal with the "other issues" best of luck , take care.

Before you go talking about which kind of abortion you would need, why not go and see your doctor. If it is an ectopic pregnancy you would need a surgery to remove the pregnancy.

Im five weeks pregnant!! and i had the same cramps, i called my dr and she ordered a ultra sound and so far everything is fine. but they did do another beta blood test to see if my pregnancy hormones have gone up.{if the numbers go up the pregnancy is going good, if they dont go up than its not, your numbers should double every two days i believe} so i would call your dr and see what they say or even ask for the beta blood test. hope this hopes!!!

If you know about ectopic pregnancy's then you also know they can be fatal....that means you die! Don't mess around with this. Get yourself to an ER as soon as possible. It will be better if it's a false alarm than if you wait and it isn't.
Please go to the hospital...NOW!

this is pretty normal...it could also be a form of morning sickness.. i dont think that it is ectopic. those cases get bad very quickly and you would know if it was, within a few days!

make an appointment w/a medical doctor for help. from here it is difficult to guess what the medical problem could be. why would you want strangers to guess about something so serious... if it is.
