Effective teamwork to me means that there are complementary skills contributed by members and a commitment to a common goal or mission. There should also be commitment by everyone to a cooperative approach to accomplishing shared goals. Team members hold themselves accountable, but at the same time recognize when individuals fail, the whole team does, and therefore always work together for success.

To me, teamwork means that everyone is committed to quality and is never satisfied with doing the bare minimum. Teamwork means that everyone wants to be quick to respond to challenges and making things happen while remaining, above all, people-valuing.

Good teams are vision-driven and goal-oriented as well as analytical and inventive. They confront problems and work through them. Good teamwork is creative and innovative, and often will take legitimate risks to achieve gains

Good teams also have a strong sense of their own identity that motivates and directs the team. This is important in building a shared vision so that the team knows what it is doing, where it is going, and what it will achieve when it gets there.

To me above all, a good team character develops as members willingly put the team before their own individuality. That is what is most important when working as a team.

Teamwork means helping out whenever and however you are needed when working with others. If you are finished with something ask others if they need any help or would like for you to do something for them. When working as a team you should never slack off and just assume the others will do the work for you. It will wind up getting you no where fast.

I am on many sports teams at my school that I am currently attending. I believe that teamwork is the most important thing that is needed to make a team. It is like a computer for instance. If you have the motherboard and the hard drive, but you have no mouse or keyboard, then your computer is practically useless. You cannot accomplish anything with pieces missing and not being able to work together.

I run 2 businesses from my home and I couldn't do either without my team.

When my son naps I shower and do paperwork and make phone calls. My husband watches my son (1 1/2) while I make my products and when I go out to do classes and meetings. My daughter (16) and mother come with me for craft and vendor fairs, they are great sales people and love the product.

My second business has a great network of women that meet weekly and are always available by phone/email for whatever I need.

Without either team behind me I could never earn an income from home or fulfill my dreams and passions. We all make sacrifices and work towards the ultimate goal of satisfying our customers and teaching them something along the way.
