im a crane addict, im 13 yr. old girl and im literally upsessed with cranes, i play one whenver i see one and wen i have money. I must have spent over atleast 100 dollars on them in my lifetime, and the scary thing is, it runs in my family, whether its gambling, drinking, etc. any advice???

I know there are long lists of people who need organs & they are ranked by need. If you were next but someone was worse off than you, then they would get it before you. You, the patient, then end up paying a ridiculous amount of money to those who did your surgery and the hospital. I think it's wrong for a health professional to charge such a steep price for such surgeries when they get the organs for free from organ donors, dead or alive. I think that the donor or their next of kin should see a good amount of money for their donated organs OR the surgeons should SERIOUSLY cut back what they are charging their sick patients. It's just wrong for them to hugely profit out of the situation. I am a donor because I chose to be. You shouldn't have to pay for what I choose to give freely. Surgeons make millions a year off of this. *shrug* that's my opinion. What do you think? Information is welcome.

when a king has a son is it more customary to name them after a previous King or to give them a unique name of their own. For example when Charles was born he was given the name of a past King as he would be one himself one day but Andrew is not a King name as he probably never will be King.

I just picked up a pair of joe rocket meteor boots, and it is so hard to shift in these things. not only are they harder to fit under the shift lever, but they are too stiff to find neutral easily even when the bike is off. Do my boots suck or do I just need to get used to them? Discuss.

Tomorrow I'll be seeing the person who sexually abused me for 6months about 3years ago.

I can't avoid it because I am going to see one of my best friends in a show and I know he will be there.

I wont be alone, I'll be with my friends boyfriend and one of our other friends.

I don't want to make a scene and I don't want to talk to him.

I didn't go to the police and only my friend who is in the show knows what happened. Please don't say don't go to the show or tell your parents or go to the police, because I'm not going to.

ACLU sues city over Jesus painting By MICHAEL KUNZELMAN, Associated Press Writer

The American Civil Liberties Union sued the city of Slidell on Tuesday for displaying a painting of Jesus in a courthouse lobby, saying it violates the constitutional separation of church and state.

The ACLU sued after the Slidell City Court refused to voluntarily remove the picture and a message below it that reads: "To Know Peace, Obey These Laws." The ACLU says the portrait — an image of Jesus presenting the New Testament — is a religious icon of the Eastern Orthodox branch of Christianity.

"We did not file this lawsuit because the ACLU is anti-religion ... We did file this lawsuit because we believe this display is clearly in violation of the law," said Vincent Booth, president and acting executive director of the Louisiana ACLU chapter.

The suit was filed on behalf of an unidentified person who complained to the ACLU about the picture. Named as defendants were the city of Slidell, St. Tammany Parish and City Judge James Lamz. St. Tammany Parish is being sued because it partially funds the court, the ACLU said.

On Saturday, Lamz said the picture would stay up unless a federal judge ordered it removed. He said he didn't believe the portrait violates the Constitution, but the issue should be decided in federal court.

Lamz could not comment Tuesday because of the pending litigation, his office said.

Before refusing to take the painting down, Lamz consulted Douglas Laycock, a professor at the University of Michigan Law School who has argued before the Supreme Court.

Laycock said he told Lamz that the legal issues in the case aren't clear-cut and could set legal precedent.

"I don't know how far the two sides will want to push things," Laycock added.

The painting has been on display at the courthouse for nearly a decade and hadn't provoked any complaints prior to the ACLU's recent objections, said Michael Johnson, senior legal counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund, a Christian civil rights group representing the city and parish.

Johnson, whose group is often at odds with the ACLU, said the painting sends an inclusive message of equal justice under the law. He said the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that similar displays in public forums are constitutional.
