At 5 years old this is abnormal,shurly you have asked the parents about this...right? Have you asked the child why this is going on?,do you tell her not to do this?,at 5 I'm shure she can understand and talk somewhat.

Yes. She needs to see the doctor ASAP. She may have an UTI or kidney infect. It also maybe a psychological problem. Also, have you noticed if she seems to be "off in space" when this happens? Sometimes during a seizure (a petit mal - no tremors ) this will happen. She then will not be aware of it occurring and will be confused after. Make the appointment today.

Best thing is to find out why she's doing it. At five, she should be verbal. Ask her. You could find out it's something silly like she's imitating what the dog does in the yard. Or it could be that she feels unable to control her urge long enough to get to the bathroom, which would indicate she had a bladder infection. Just find out why she's doing it, then proceed from there.

Perhaps. Ask her how she feels, whether she feels any pain. And listen to her answer. You might hear something.
To be certain, take her to see a doctor.

I would be worried! Even puppies are housebroken in a few months.
