i am very concerned about my uncle. ever since he got out of the navy he has been "hanging out" or "dating" a woman that i consider to be a detriment to him. she bugged him until he finally said yes to dating her. now he is doing drugs ( she has been doing them for a while) and he is so skinny its not funny. she writes and says stuff about me that is not true. she thinks she is more important than his family. she spends every second of her time with him, gave up her kids to be with him and has no job. they fight all the time about things that are really childish. i don't like her and i have let my uncle know this. i feel she has something up her selve. he tells me to try to be nice to her because she basically lives here with my grandfather, my uncle and myself but, they sleep, eat and basically spend all their time out in a broken down van. i am so worried about what this is doing to my uncle's health i just don't know what to do.

my husbands grandfather died. and the way the will states, his wife (my husbands grandmother) only has use of the property and would not be able to sell if she would choose to do so. he left everything to his children but if they would want to sell, my husbands grandmother can say "no" and the kids won't be able to sell. this doesn't make sense to me...

I understand that there is a limit to voluntary O.T. (my brother works 13 days out of 14 with total hours of 104 to 130..and if sick or not showing up, must either use sick, vacation, or official "non-paid time off"). But what is the limit to the number of hours an employer can force employees to work and can they fire a person for not working overtime?

I'm trying to figure out a dream in which I'm walking through a cemetery and each of the tombstones I pass has a letter of my last name (example would be the 1st tombstone I pass has an A, then the 2nd has a p, and so one until my last name is completely spelled out.) I am usually liberal on economic issues, but lets really think about this. The wealthy use the least amount of public services, yet we tax them more?

Is it right to tax people more just because they have more to give?

I know when there are tax breaks, they get the biggest break, but is that really reliable considering they have to wait for the break to come along.

It just seems like a really bad deal for rich people

Is there anyone out there that could come up with a legitimate reason as to why rich people should pay more taxes?

why is that wrong? why is that considered selfish?

in baseball Manny Ramirez of the Boston Red Sox (one of the best players of the past decade) has been asking for a trade numerous times during the past 6-7 seasons and the red sox refused and kept him and he still kept on putting up great numbers


red sox prolly until 3 years ago when the world series have always not been one of the top teams in baseball...even after that manny asked for a trade a couple of times PUBLICLY


and during those tough times in boston, manny carried the team juss like Kobe...so why is that when Manny asks for a trade, its juss manny being manny and its ok and acceptable but kobe asks for one just to improve his chances of winning a championship (WHICH EVERY PLAYER WANTS), its considered arrogant and selfish?

manny did that multiple times on espn talking about how bad the team is or whatever and wants to be on a contending team

why isn't that wrong?

Within a couple of days of leadership change in the UK, terror has hit twice. I have heard many times that terrorists struck US interests often before the current administration took over. Now, we are told, nobody has dared strike the US since the decisive action of this administration and our heros like Rudy Giuliani. Aren't we just throwing this hard won freedom away by changing our leaders? If you support elections next year, aren't you supporting the terrorists?

Hello! I have a small glitch that I am hoping will be really easy to fix! I have been adding items to my shop for years with no problem, when suddenly, 3 days ago I have been unable to get the small images to upload to the site via the add item page. I can add the item to the shop - but all I get as an image is the red x in a white box. My site went live 4 years ago, and not much has been changed 'back stage' since then. Could this be a problem? Is updating complicated?

I did not create the site myself, my father did it before he died...I can add items and do general 'admin' stuff, but all this talk of source code and allsorts is beyond my knowledge.

Any pointers would be appreciated, please!
