Messiahs after him? No but many False teachers, preachers, bishops, elders, speakers and Tele-Evangelist (lol). after him? He also said:

1 John 4:1
[ Test the Spirits ] Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
(only if they confess that God heals and man is only a witness to God's glory. Also Jesus was born of a virgin mother and that He is 100% human and 100% God, he died, was buried and will come again, that is the test). If the teacher can't own and admit to that then he is a false teacher (preacher etc).

Matthew 7:15
[ A Tree and Its Fruit ] "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

Matthew 24:11
and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

False prophets, yes. Jesus, imo, is the one and true Messiah.

At Mark 13:5, 6 Jesus said: "So Jesus started to say to them: “Look out that nobody misleads YOU. Many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and will mislead many."

Jesus knew that many would claim to be the messiah, but in doing so would only be proving themselves to be part of the anit-Christ.

Hello,

Yes he did but qualified that by saying there would be many false prohets coming in his name.

Just what is the nature of this deception? Notice Jesus' specific warning: "Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many" (verses 4-5, King James Version).

What He actually said was that we should beware as there will be false Christs and false prophets. Having a good Bible study routine will help you on this issue.
