I read many posts that say that one is to study the original texts that the scripture was written in...cross reference any verses to other verses in the Bible to get a complete meaning. However, many scholars from many faiths do this very thing and come to different conclusions about the same passages. Which is accurate and which is not...Baptists, Methodists, Catholics, Episcopalians, Lutherans, Presbyterians?

Furthermore, why is it that some say that certain scriptures are cut and dry and literal as they stand...when they do not affect their view...but, when you point to one that is contradictory to their beliefs...they use the whole cross-reference, explain it away reasoning?

VOIP question?

We have an allworx system here and we had a networking guy configure it as our router and pbx. Basically it has capabilities of a router and a PBX also a hosting server but cant be a data server. We also have a panasonic pbx and have a landline connected to the allworx system. I was wondering if the allworx system can work without a landline connected to it. Can the allworx system get the landline through the configuration of the system which then can work through the internet and not landline? If you do this can you not use your phone service provider? Or is it that you just dont use their service in the sense of paying for local, domestic and international calls?

final fantasy 12?

i just finished it. was it just me or was the final fight really easy? i was only level 46 and it was a breeze.

was it that easy for you guys too?

all in all, i thought it was okay. not the best one, for sure. the only thing i really liked was the gambits and the hunts. what about you guys?

Which Boston, MA universities offer majors and graduate programs in writing and such areas?

I'm planning to move to Boston, MA, due to life reasons. I plan to transfer to a Boston, MA university. However, considering I'm from Puerto Rico, I am practically clueless on the subject. little smoke is coming out the the side of the engine,under the hood?

What do you know about this?

I was just wondering.. ppl seem t keep telling me that I should send a thank yuo card to my interviewer thanking them for their time and I tried but they dont have an emai lthat I could find. I dont really feel comfortable calling them because I feel like I might sound stupid. I guess I have never heard of this. What do you think? They told me that they would call with their decision at the beginning of next week so there is no point of calling and asking them about it... i can only hope.

I got bitten by something four weeks ago. I thought it was a mosquito - it was small, red, and itchy.?

The next day was the same, but the day after that, the lymph nodes in my groin were swollen. The bite was about two inches in diameter, with a dark spot in the middle like a blood blister, surrounded by a light red, uneven circle. It was on my right upper butt cheek, so whatever it was bit through my shorts and underwear, or crawled up my shorts and bit through my underwear. I ended up taking antibiotics and the swelling went down. Four weeks later, my skin is smooth but still discolored. The doctor said I had some skin loss. It doesn't bother me anymore, but I'm wondering, what the heck was it? I live in the northeast and we don't have the brown recluse or black widow. I never felt a thing when it bit/stung me. Doctor thought some kind of spider, but I'm not sure because it bit through clothes. Any thoughts? Thanks so much for all your help.

Which Christian churches don't require you to be baptized if you've been baptized in another church before?

I know that there are some churches that don't require any baptism, and that there are some that require a person to be baptized again into a new church. Are there churches that say if you've been baptized by a different Christian church then you don't need to be baptized again? And if you know, what is the reasoning behind the policy? I'm simply curious.
