Grow up. Nobody is trying to wipe out an entire race here. Everybody is simply fed up with illegal immigration.

I laughed when I read this. I love the question and I completely agree!!! I don't think ALL americans that oppose illegal immigration on racist but so many that claim to be anti illegals call the illegals wetbacks, tell them to go back to their taco stands, say that we should shoot them as they come in, hate them for speaking the language that they were born speaking...Even if they all did learn english, the first time they talked in spanish to their fellow spanish friends at the supermarket and a "legal" american heard it, he or she would be so angry that they weren't speaking english. I go get chinese food once a week and they stand back there cooking talking in chinese. They could be saying "Look at how fat she is" and I wouldn't know it but I don't care!!! They can speak to their own people in their own language. That is their right!! Us calling anti-illegals racist is no different then them calling us pro-illegals. I'm not pro-illegal. I'm pro-immigration reform, I'm for tougher borders, but I'm also a compassionate person and I know that not every person that made the mistake of coming into this country illegally is a horrible horrible criminal that deserves to rot in hell.. I think those that are otherwise upstanding citizens deserve a chance at being legal citizens of the United States....They don't deserve to be harrassed and treated like murderers for the rest of their lives...and most of the antis have probably never even took the time of day to get to know an undocumented worker....it's because they might just realize that some of them are decent human beings like the rest of us!

Those americans who use racism as a point in their arguement against amnesty dont deserve a second thought. They have nothing to base an arugment on except the color of someones skin.
i am against all illegal immigration, this includes all races, all religions, all economic status, all political status, all ages. I dont care whether you are from canada, or nigeria, you deserve punishment if you come here and break our laws.
im not sure if i really support the 'shoot on site' approach, however, we do need to set up a deterrent to keep illegals from crossing both borders. perhaps we should start building border prisons. if you are caught illegally in this country, instead of just being sent back home, we should put you in a prison for awhile just to make the point clear that we will not allow lawbreakers in this country.

#1:I call them none of those labels that you brought up.
#2: I always consider the source of the comments made to me and usually find them lacking in substance including the source of this particular rant.
#3: It looks to me like you are the one taking a legal issue and trying to turn it into a race issue.
#4: They are illegal and in no way, shape or form deserve anything but basic human rights and dignity while awaiting deportation.
You have posed this same question in many forms many times. This will be the last time I answer this type of racist question from you. Get a new gig. You've worn this one out.

If believing in obeying the immigration laws we have and thinking all immigrates should have the same chance of becoming citizents of this country makes me a racist them I am proud to be called one. But in my opinion if someone thinks that by entering illegally it should place them ahead of those going through the legal channels that makes them the racists which side are you on if the latter get in line and wait your turn.

Requiring citizens of this country to speak the native language is not racist; it's common sense. Further, controlling our borders is not only essential to national security, but important as far as maintaining our population at a comfortable level. If Mexicans chose to break the laws and try and get into our country they should have to pay the consequences. That's not racist, son, that's reality. The fact that taxpayers have to pay for illegal immigrant's children is unfair and wrong.
The only thing racist you are suggesting would be the racial slurs you so easily typed out as examples.
Wake up....

I would have been offended before I heard some of the talk that the illegals and their pro buddys spew on here. But after being exposed to the extreme hate and racism that has been thrown at me by these people, I guess I'm about immine to hate now. I've said all along that this is an issue of legality not race but they have made it one.

quite a number of them refuse to have self belief that they're racist and don't understand that the way they look on the international is basically improper. they have a tendency to start their rants with "i'm not a racist yet..." and seem to think of that "racist" is a term used to delegitimise and silence their perspectives. they don't understand that the stupidity of their perspectives is what delegitimises them, and the destruction brought about while those with such perspectives have been in ability is why they're shouted down in public discourse.

As for your original question,no,i'm not offended by being called a racist, the only people who call me that are people who can't defend their pro illegal stance and people who are anti white.

Who exactly is you??? Because I certainly haven't used those terms, or suggested anybody be shot, and as far as their "native" language.. I don't care what language people speak in private- with their family and with their friends.. but this is the US and publicly it should be English- how can we be a unified country if we can't understand one another
