Each person's fears are different so what's scares them is also different. So a movie that scares you might not scare me. Movies now that scare me are the original Exorcist as an old one. The original Psycho and for new movies that scare me 28 days later and the Dawn of the Dead remake. What really scares me are the documentaries that are being made such as Terrorstorm by Alex Jones or America from freedom to fascism. Those are way more frightening than anything Hollywood could produce.

Exorcist. 28 Days Later. And I admit, I like The Ring and the Grudge. Other than that, I've become a wimp. I used to LOVE horror but now I watch romantic comedies. OK I don't really watch romantic comedies but I am a wimp. When I was a kid, I LOVED The Brain that Wouldn't Die. L-U-V loved.

All the new ones are about slash, blood, gore, shock tactics. There is an old one called The Legend of Hill House ... scared the living daylights out of me, subtlety, it's what you don't see, but can imagine, that scares you more than anything

None of the new ones are scary. They are lame. In fact, most horror films are pretty bad, badly made, bad scripts, bad acting. It's a worthless genre. With that said, I still love the old Universal monster film, Frankenstein being my favorite, and I love the Exorcist.
