What is the weirdest health myth that you've heard? Or the weirdest home remedy?
My grandmother used to put butter on burns...butter is used for cooking so if you put it on a burn it makes it worse.

christians are quick to point out that all the churches
basically believe the same fundamental things.
but why do a huge portion of all christians believe in catholicism and the rest are protestant or orthodox or whatever?
obviously god wants one church, undivided.
so the only explaination there is is that it is satan's fault for this segmented divide amongst followers.
If you are a protestant, don't you think it is kinda weird to think that catholics do that whole "confessional booth thing" because the devil has confused them?
Or if your catholic, don't you think that it is odd to say that some protestants fake holy spirit things like speaking in tongues because they are confused by satan?
Who wins when you make claims like these against people who follow god just as earnestly as you do?

Ok, well a few summers ago I went on vacation. I was having a blast until we went to a lake. It was going MAD with mosquitos. Which was a real problem for me. Anyway on my left leg I got over 50 bites and my leg looked like it had polkadots. My grandparents said they would go away before I got back to my parents back where I live. They didnt. They got WORSE! I kept scratching and they turned into bruise type scars. When I went home they faded a little. Then other things happened. Like, a girl at school WAS bullying me and kept kicking me in the leg, I would rub my leg REALLY hard when I got nervous and it would burn and bleed, things like that. I went to my doctor when my parents found out because they though it was serious and they didnt do ANYTHING! I have summer camp on Monday and I cant go like this. We go swimming everyday and my leg looks horrible. So bad I havent been able to go out in public wearing shorts or things like that.I havent worn shorts in public for 3 years!What now?

i think she knows she has it but she doesnt tell her mom because she doesnt really like people gettin really close to her hair or putting it up(that might just be her but idk)
sometimes i feel bad because i wont let her wear my hat or use my brush an some times i dont want her to come to my house cuz i dont really wanna get lice
but i dont want her to feel offended if i tell her

Where range is the change in x
Vo is the initial velocity

I have a small practice amp, I was playing it the other day and one of my friends picked it up and it stopped working. I know there is something wrong with the input jack, because when you apply pressure it works and when you let go it stops. Well, I don't know what to do, I have resoldered the leads on the jack(don't worry the amp is no longer under warranty) and I still have the same problem. I have looked and everything looks like it is still inplace. If it needs to be replaced, I have an extra jack but it looks different. I have enough electronic skills to solder and that is it. So, any help would be greatly appreciated.
