I just started doing graffiti and I was wondering if someone could help me out with some tips

Dont listen to that guy! Grf art is beautiful and who said anything about putting it in a place it will have to be cleaned up?
There are many ways to do graffiti. Spray cans which have different size and shape spray heads depending on the size of the line you are trying to get.
You need to be more specific as to what youare loking to do.

Until you get good, don't do it where people will see it. I go on a train into the city almost everyday and some of the art is really good. But then there's the crap and it takes away from the rest and people just see it as vandalism. Someone that just started sculpting wouldn't put their statue on the city green would they? No they wouldn't unless they were cocky and then they would look like a bad artist.

i just started taggin of my own and location is important. u want every1 to notice it so do a piece wherever lots of people are at. i live in nyc so i do my pieces in the roof tops outside the subways so every that looks out the windows sees em also make sure even if ur not planning on tagging up, carry the lil white masks that workers use because sometimes u find urself a paintcan and inhaling the paint fumes is really dagerous

yea have a black book to keep all your pieces and find out what colors work together and which dont also practice and make sure it looks good before u do it on a wall because if it sucks you will get no respect also do it in a place where everyone can see it so you can gain some noteriety and have a good tag name hope this helps

there seems to be alot of people doing graffiti now.yes contact me if you want and i can tell you anything and everything about it.only proper pieces thou not tags ok.Not enough room on here to tell you everything.Am i the only writer on here or what?

I've got a tip. STOP!!! Someone has to clean that graffiti off of whatever you are putting it on.

Do it on federal property. That way you'll be jailed & we won't have to pay to clean up your mess anymore.
