all the visas only to the 'good' companies like Microsoft who aren't using them to outsource? Recent discoveries changed my mind that increasing the H1B cap was the way to deal with this, and I never wanted to let as many students who could get a masters or better from our worst colleges to get them without cap, but that is what IT wants. Expect a follow up bill.

Ok, for some reason, I was being really stupid and downloaded a spyware attacker that gave me spyware!!!!!!!!!!! And now there is constantly a little alert on my toolbar that is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point on it, and it says, Security Alert: Spyware found. And whenever I click on the bubble, it takes me to a friggin donload site!!!! Does any1 know how to get rid of this.......

Right. So I have an Acer ScanPrisa 640P, and it's been in the family for about ... 5 years. I have an installation CD for something known as 'MiraScan', which is the 'TWAIN-compliant' driver for the scanner. Anyway, I've installed that, and I've tried to scan in a document, but even though the connections are proper, the computer still doesn't detect the scanner. I've tightened the connections -- and I've noticed that the printer is connected to the scanner, which in turn is connected to the CPU, which I assume is the proper way of doing this. I was wondering why the computer wasn't detecting the scanner, and whether it has anything to do with the fact that my driver is 'out-of-date' (it's compliant with Win 95/98/NT, apparently). If this be the case, why won't Windows detect the scanner, like it normally does? And where can/should I get a new driver? Thanks for all the help! =)

I was in the hair dresser a little while ago and when I was sitting in the chair, all of a sudden my vision went weird and all i could see was this kinda snot green color. I also felt extremely light headed, then I couldn't hear anything for a few seconds and slowly my vision came back then my hearing came back a little, but all i could hear was the hair person talking to me, then it came back completely.

Isn't that really weird. I usually get those moments were I see a snot green color, but its not as bad as this one was.
I was actually scared.

I just bought halo 2 yesterday and its not working because it says i only have 32MB of video memory, but my card is 224MB shared, why wont it work? Does it have to be dedicated? Is there a work-around for this?

me and this guy have had sex twice. the first time we used a condom, i was paranoid and he even let me feel to make sure it was on, and it was. the second time we started out with the condom and i was in a lot of pain so he suggested and asked me if i wanted to take the condom off, i said yes, and i am not pregnant i got tested. once the condom was off, it really felt a lot better.

do you think he wanted to take off the condom for his satisfaction? if it was for his satisfaction, why would he have used one in the first place, or even the first time?

I'm talking about family things (helping with yardwork, painting, etc. or anything else, suggestions are welcome) I was out with some single friends and we were discussing this. I'm the youngest of 3 and the only single one. Everytime I ask my family for help with anything their excuse is "we're too busy with the kids" or "we have other plans". However, they always ask me to do things because "I'm single and don't have any responsibilities". Does anybody else have this problem?

hoodoo, you can cast a "black spell" without fear of retribution? The whole concept of it coming back 3 times as strong to the spell caster doesn't apply in hoodoo. It's one of the difference (if few) between wicca and hoodoo.

Throughout the novel, I have noticed that Socrates doesn’t change in area of physical toughness. His physical ability remains the same. Mr. Lomax from Cherry Hill Developers sends two African American to empty out Socrates apartment because Socrates was living there illegally. When Socrates saw these men’s throwing his sofa and he had tears in his eyes as he approached. Socrates said to them “you lookin’ to be two dead men” you better get out of here before he was more angrier. Once again, Socrates was an underdog and was twice older than these mens. The men started attacking Socrates but Socrates grabbed by his hair and threw him into the ground. Socrates then picked up the steel pipe that was in his yard and told them to get out from here and he warned them to stay away. We can see how strong Socrates is even when is old. Nothing has changed in his physical toughness. He is not afraid of anyone and believes he is the strongest in LA.
