If he took 4 25 mg pills than he only took 100 mg. Nothing Major will happen except he won't be anxious for a while and he might get pretty tired. Just 4 pills won't hurt. I used to be on 2 50 mg. pills a day so it equals the same as 4 25 mg also I used to cheat and take more if I was feeling really anxious just to calm down and that's all it does. If he takes a about 40-50 pills than call the E.R.

Most adults could take up to 600 mg/day without any overdose effects. The common side effects are drowsiness and dry mouth, so someone should be there to monitor his level of consciousness until it wears off. If he does experience an overdose, it will enhance those normal side effects, so it could dehydrate him and make him comatose.
Stay with your friend, or find someone who can.

I predict he will be really sleepy, but probably not suffer any real harm unless they mix it with alcohol or other substances.
