Why do Christians today not concern themselves with Jesus life but only his death? The Bible is missing 18 years of the life of Jesus, and his ministry in Judea only lasted 3.5 years, yet the Gospel of John states that Jesus did so many things that it would not fill all the books in the world, and that's after only 3.5 years of his ministry.
Why do most Christians today not care about those lost years, and what he did and stood for? Are they scared they may find something they don't like, like the fact that Jesus went east to study God and learn about God in different religions? Are people scared that Christianity is based more on Eastern religions than they want to admit? Hiding their heads in the ground does not kill the truth.
This is the reason I read books concerning Jesus and his teachings outside of traditional Christianity, gnostic/Eastern. I supplement the Bible with these, as this paints a truer picture of Jesus Christ. I'm glad I did, I know my Saviour AND Master
