I was cooking pork-chops in my kitchen when the oil bubbled and splattered on my grey cotton-strchy zip-up jacket, and my jeans. I have not washed them yet, i didnt want to set a stain. however, i forgot about them in the back of my closet for a month or so, which i dont know, but im guessing it makes it much harder to get out?!?! Does anyone have any suggestions before I attempt this, or is it stained for life? :(

Try Goo Gone,. You can get it with other cleaning supplies and it works on clothes, floors, carpets. It is the best..

Zout is the best stain remover I have ever found. It got out magic marker out f my clothes - that had been set in for a while. I have also used it on grease. For best results, spray it, rub it in to penetrate the stain and let it set 3 minutes, rinse with HOT water, spray it again, rub it in, let it set and then wash it in warm water. This should get rid of it immediately. If it doesn't try one more sequence, but I would be surprised if the Zout didn't work. It gets rid of everything!

I have had the same problem and the easiest way is to use dish soap detergent. Any type will do. Put some on the spot and rub it in and then wash them in Cheer. I have grease on all my old shirts from time to time if I eat watching TV and the Dial dish soap detergent takes it out better then Ox Clean and Off and many other grease removers which never seem to work for me

lots of spray and wash...lol...then let it soak in hot water in the washin' machine for a while, then let it run. don't put it in the dryer until you have got as much out as you can...it makes the stains and stuff way more permanent

Try WD-40 or a solvent like gasoline. Soak it in that for a few hours.

try Clorox Oxy stain remover....and some Shout...(at the same time...) let them sit overnight with the remover on...then wash warm...then look before drying...if it doesn't come out wash again (no drying...just wash...) if it doesn't come out after 3 times..well...I'm pretty sure it won't come out...
